As the name suggests, this is a companion book to the previous DD Omnibus. That one contains the entirety of Frank Miller and Klaus Jansen's run, while THIS one rounds out the remaining Miller material with Born Again, Love and War, and Man Without Fear. As always, a big gorgeous volume with high quality pages and printing.

I used to have all of these DD comics back in the day, and to have them all in this beautiful hardcover book is more than I could want!! Included in this collection is what may be the greatest story of the Man Without Fear: “Born Again”. Worth every penny!!

finally, i have a Daredevil Comic! i’ve wanted it for such a long time.. my country doesn’t sell these comics.

This book is basically Daredevil by Frank Miller Vol. 2. Not sure why they call it a "companion." Regardless, this is amazing work from a true visionary in his prime. I say the same thing in my review of Volume 1 but this stuff just makes me yearn for a really good Daredevil movie. I'm talking about Marvel Studios making their own version, not like the godawful Affleck one and not like the boring mediocre Netflix shows. They could throw in Black Widow, Spider-Man, Punisher, The Kingpin, and Elektra in a series of movies that would be truly epic. One can only hope. Meantime we still have the original stories to enjoy over and over again. One last thing- I highly recommend Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's Daredevil books as well to anyone who hasn't yet read them. I can never decide whose run I like more, Bendis or Miller's. They're both phenomenal.
