Great for New Readers, Ages 6-8ish - WAY Too Easy for Adults
This is a great little solitaire game for a 6-8 year old, reinforcing some reading skills, concepts of left of/ right of, next to, etc. You could also do it with a younger child if you were willing to help some. There are other "games" similar to Logic Links, such as Animalinks (I think that's what it's called), but it is all basically the same thing. When I bought this, I thought it was for adults, however, and it is really not. Unless you are frequently stumped telling your left from your right, that is. The puzzles are not difficult at all. Each consists of a list of "ingredients" and a few simple instructions, for example: "Use one red chip, two black chips, and a yellow chip. The black chips do not touch. The yellow chip is immediately to the right of the red chip." There are also five circles (or however many circles you require for the number of chips specified) under each problem. The goal is to arrange the chips according to the instructions. My 6-year-old was able to work these puzzles fairly quickly and easily by herself. I tried the very last one (they are supposedly rank-ordered according to difficulty) and it was simple for me to solve. I generally love-love-love Mindware products, but this one has limited playability, in my opinion. Who is really going to start back at the beginning again at the easiest ones and do them all over again? Not my child, that's for sure. With about 100-something puzzles, it can take a little time to get through, but then that's that. That said, it's great for whipping out at restaurants as "something to do" before the food comes. And if you have more than one child, of course, you can get more bang for your buck. So, in general, I'd say I do like it, it keeps the little ones busy, but if you're looking for a real brain twister, look elsewhere.

I use this with many of my brain injured patients. It encourages thinking and problem solving. I like that there are puzzles of many different levels.

Daughter found this game to be very boring. Better off just printing off free logic puzzles to do online.
