This is the best canned tuna ever! And I consider it local coming from BC Canada

Comes in an easy to open can, solid chunks of salmon about 3/4 to 1 inch wide to about can width long, about 3.5 inches. Easy to eat out of the can but a little pricy for a snack by itself. With about a 4 year expiration, it can serve as a backup or emergency food easily. Compares favorably to good quality frozen Atlantic on taste but likely higher in the omega3s.

This salmon is expensive but the difference between it and other canned salmon is the difference between fire and fireflies. I love to eat wild salmon and wouldn't feed farmed salmon to my cat. Even though other canned salmon may be, for the most part, wild salmon this is different from that in the same measure as wild as opposed to farmed salmon. In short, really expensive and really good.

We eat lots of salmon, wild and farmed, all different preparations. These cans are a staple in our household, usually eaten mixed into rice or on a salad. I have bought these over and over, and keep doing so because they are fresh and delicious. Lots of frozen or other canned salmon don't live up to my expectations, but these always do.

First clue the box arrived with what appeared as leakage. Two cans were completely dented and upon opening the product was black, tar-like with an overpowering horrible smell. Six additional cans had dents in them but not as severe as the first two. The final four cans looked normal. Given this experience we cannot recommend this product and hope that Raincoast will prevent others from receiving what we did. The batch ours came from was SL 19087 2SKBN BB 03/28/2023. Our order arrived promptly given we ordered on 7/13 and it arrived 7/15, that's the only reason why I gave it even one star.

I can't eating this salmon. It is without the best tasting salmon that I have ever tried. Add to that that it is certified sustainable. I only wish that Raincoast Trading offered more products.

This salmon is the best quality salmon on the market. It is really a fillet of salmon in a can. Makes incredible salmon patties or sandwiches, or just heat and serve with rice and a salad. It is the only salmon I choose to eat. I highly recommend this salmon and any product this company sells. Their reputation ensures my sense of safety when eating fish.
