It does the job.
Saved my fish. It does the job. I dropped it and it bent. It was my fault so do not drop this tool it bends easily. Tool alone does not work you have to make sure you get all the air bubble out of the fish air bladder and then you maintain water condition the best for your fish. Also don't overfeed them.

Tacklebox must haves.
When you pull up a deep sea fish it can often inflate and puff up with air. If youre not keeping the fish it would die u less you vent it. In comes this tool. It helps to relieve pressure and get the fish back in the water good as new. Its very well made and seems like great quality. The tips on these often bend and break after a few uses just be careful when using it and try wipe off the saltwater. Must have for the tacklebox.

very weak tool
the tool is made of very thin metal, and it bent an broke off the tip while trying to vent a grouper

Easy to use
This vent tool was very easy to use. We had kids on the boat and they were able to vent their catch so no one had to stop fishing.

Works fine lost my old one ( put a leash or cork on it in case it falls overboard’ use a piece of fish line to clean
