Works as expected
I've ordered cheap no-name power supplies for laptops before and have been disappointed. Usually, they are electrically noisy power supplies that won't work well or run very hot. This one has charged a completely flat battery and the power supply is hardly warm, cooler in fact than the original Asus one. I am very happy so far as the build quality looks excellent too. The packaging is good with a contact telephone number and an apparent two year guarantee, together with manufacturer details. Quite often these things arrive in an anonymous brown box. Four tips are provided to fit different power sockets and a long lead, again, longer again than the original.

Perfect for Asus Zenbook UX430U
I purchased this to use with our seven year old Asus Zenbook UX430U laptop which has just had a replacement battery fitted and needed a new charger too. I was a bit reluctant as you never know what you're getting with an unknown brand, however this does the job perfectly - it's just successfully charged the laptop up to 100% with no issues. Would recommend.

Causes problems on ASUS Vivobook
Got this to replace the original charger for my Vivobook. Since using it I regularly get a message box (that can't be removed) popping up in the middle of my screen - it flickers from 'plugged in' to 'battery' and back again. As this message never appeared when I was using the original charger, I can only conclude that this product is the cause. The message has appeared four times while I've been writing this review.

Only charges when laptop not in use
Charger works but only when laptop is switched off and not in use, won’t charge if laptop is on, even if only doing simple things like browsing the internet

Charging properly again
After ages of arranging my laptop in all sorts of positions to get it to charge , I bought above multi adapter as I was unsure of the ASU’s laptop model. One of the adapter’s fits perfectly and now the laptop is working properly again 🤗 Good value for money and the different adapters are easy to swap if required.
