I bought this for my shed that has no electricity and it's working fine but could be brighter at least I can see where I'm going in the dark. I like the part that it came with a remote control which I said by the door in case I want to turn it on or off otherwise I have it on auto. It was easy enough to install for my son to get the right angle for the solar panel. I'm happy with it

Bought one of these last year for my pavillion. The light is super bright and is always charged. Never have had to move the solar panel. Its literally never ran out of juice for me. I mostly use it as a motion at night for when I need to be outside for something, but also just hang in the pavillion at night. Worked so great that I bought one for the back porch as a motion light when I get home at night. Just bought a third one for my other property. These things are super bright and worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Works well, and the lights are nice and bright. It's perfect for a detached shed with no electricity. Users should know that Mode 4 should be used for general "motion sensing on/off," not Mode 2 (night mode). I originally used Mode 2 and thought the unit was defective, because it wasn't turning on when I entered my shed. It turns out that Mode 2 only works when there is "complete" darkness -so even a little light through a shed window can deactivate it.

Installed in my barn. Lights up 30ft.x40ft. or so space of a night. Has been working flawlessly for a year or so. Does ok in the daytime. So far maintenance free. No idea how long the battery lasts. It has never ran dead even in winter when most batteries struggle. However we are only in there a few times a day for maybe 5 minutes.

Update: Bought this in late May 2025. We had an extremely cold winter with temperatures near or below zero every night. It's now mid April 2026. I walked into the garage today and the light came right on, just as bright as the day I installed it! Older review: Just what I needed for our detached garage! There is ledge between it and the house so an underground wire was out of the question. Using solar was the perfect way to go, and this light cost far less than running a cable. The garage is 24x24 and the best place for the solar panel was on a corner, so the long cable was just the right length to allow me to mount it in the center of the garage. The whole install took less than an hour and is very straightforward. Simply mount the panel, drill a hole for the wire, Seal the wire hole with silicone caulk, mount the light, and connect the two. The light module is plastic and very light weight, so I used a single screw to attach it to the rafter, allowing me to swivel it for best coverage. All the necessary hardware is provided, and even includes drywall anchors for the screws and tie wraps for securing the wire. In operation, the motion detector responded when I got within 5 feet of the light. I larger detection radius would have been a little better, but is not an issue; I will Velcro the remote to the garage wall and use it as an on/off switch if necessary. However, if you were to drive a vehicle into the garage, the detection range is fine. The light is very bright. We rarely use this garage at night, and I'm sure it will be adequate for our needs. The unit is well designed and manufactured. The solar panel is encased in a metal frame and has an adjustable metal mounting bracket. The cable from the solar panel to the light has a keyed connector to prevent accidental miswiring and a secure waterproof connection. While light in weight, the light housing is well built and hold the LED panels securely. There are 4 adjustable LED panels as well as a fixed downward pointing 5th panel which allow you to direct the light where it is needed. The master on/off switch is mounted on the center panel and is waterproof. You can install this light in damp outdoor conditions without worrying about it shorting out. Also, the light runs on low voltage, so you don't have to worry about electrical shock. I'm very pleased with this light, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a light in a shed or garage that does not have electricity.

Had it running for only a day so far but I really like them. Price was very good. Set up wasn’t difficult. The lights are nice and bright at night. Use them in a shed with no electric.

I’ve had this light installed for a few months now, and it's definitely a mixed bag. On the positive side, having the motion sensor and the daytime mode is super convenient for a dark shed, and the remote control works perfectly from a distance. Installation was a breeze since the solar cord is plenty long. However, the light output is just not as bright as I thought it would be, especially for having 176 LEDs. It certainly helps me see what I'm doing so I'm not in total darkness, but it really could be better. If you need intense, floodlight-level brightness for a larger garage or barn, this might feel a bit dim, but it works fine as a basic utility light.

Purchased for my home shed gym. Great light and a lot better than the solar powered one that I have. It really makes the shed brighter. Picture shows how bright it is in my home gym. Does cost a bit more but worth it. Give this a five stars.
