I've had one of these on my keychain for over a year and I love it. Be prepared for people to ask you "What is this key for?" and the "Oh, neat!" that you'll get when you tell them it's a bottle opener. It's not flimsy or cheaply made and looks very nice. It is longer than any other actual key I have on my keychain but that hasn't been a problem for me since it works so well. Since I almost always keep my keys in my pocket I almost always have a bottle opener handy, which is nice and aside from looking cool is the whole point of this product. When using the key, try to hook the bottle cap where the crimps are jutting out and the cap will come off easier. Most times the cap will come off in one attempt, but if it doesn't all you have to do is grab the cap with the key on another point and the cap will come right off. Pros: Looks cool Works great Well built Cons: Size - A little large (but if it were smaller it wouldn't be as easy to use) EDIT: It is now 2013 and I still have this bottle opener on my keychain. It still works just as well as the day I bought it and I use it all the time. The chrome finish has worn away in some places to reveal the brass underneath (I assume it is brass), but that just gives it a more authentic "old key" look, in my opinion. I originally had high price as a con, but that was back when this cost 10 dollars. At $3.49 this is an excellent buy. EDIT: It is now 2016 and the bottle opener is still going strong. Looking at the newer reviews, it appears there have been some fakes sold. I can only speak the the quality of the original, which is very well made and strong. I've had it with me for 7 years now and I believe it will last another 7 years with ease. EDIT: 2022 and I no longer carry the bottle key. It is still in perfect working order, but I don't use bottle openers as much as I used to so at some point I stopped carrying it. Maybe I'll go find it and carry it around a bit more. Either way, it was well worth the money and I got many years of use out of it. Figured I'd drop one last update, even though at this point it's a bit irrelevant.

The bottle cap open portion is a little small, and makes removing bottle caps a little difficult at times. But that’s usually the case with most in-you-pocket bottle openers, so I understand why that’s the case. I really like the design and build quality. It’s worth the price, I’d say.

I hang the little guy on my wallet, and everyone always wants to know what it is. (: I wish there wasn't a little bottle symbol on one side so I could keep people guessing longer, but aside from that it's about perfect. I haven't used it much, but it's opened bottles easily enough despite the frame being so slim. Perks: -pretty dark bronze color -smooth feel -easy use -conversational piece -quite spiffy lookin' Cons: -expensive for a bottle opener (the last one I had was a few cents) but hardly breaking the bank -clunky compared to other keys / key chains Hopefully it holds up!

Got this for myself and a friend. Both of us loved it. His gave out in eight months but I'm told it handled A LOT of bottles during that time. Mine is still going after a year and a half. Great conversation starter, looks great, not too big for a keychain. Shipped quickly. Highly recommend.

This key opener looked and worked great when I first bought it. I often showed it off while drinking and camping with some buddies. That only lasted about two months though before it snapped in two while trying to open a beer. I was very disappointed. Hope this doesn't happen to anybody else. You've been warned!!!

You have to look so closely now to see what's sold by Amazon and what's not. This isn't really Amazon's fault if this is a fake. I bought from WholeGeekCatalog, which appears to be the only seller on Amazon now (I'm a Prime junkie). I did get the one identified as a fake by these Amazon reviewers (packaging with no hole at the top, color is dark and brassy, not silvery and shiny). I wouldn't have noticed, probably, if I wasn't reading the reviews, but I took a chance. The packaging was Scotch taped together (!) in two places and the plastic was really scratched and beat up. It would be totally unsuitable as a gift, if that was the intention. However, I'm using it regardless because returning is kind of a pain and there's nothing wrong with it, per se. It did open a bottle well enough (I'll continue to use a regular one if it's around ... but there's just so many times where there's not and there's nt a guy around who can do it with his regular keys, fence, counter, knife, teeth ...) and it still looks cool, although I would have preferred a shiny silvery one. I also couldn't find anything else about this product being a fake through a casual 10 minute Google foray, so I'm thinking perhaps this company has different packaging requirements for different regions or something. Both packaging types and metal finishes came up, and none of the pages I read mentioned fakes. But, seriously, boo to WholeGeekCatalog for selling me previously opened merchandise! It's not makeup or food or anything, so I'll keep it, but what a let down. I recommend this product, fake or no, but think hard about going with this seller!

I loved this product so much that I bought a second one. I keep it on my keychain and in comes in handy anywhere. Family party, grab a beer.. wheres the bottle openers? Do not need to look for one because I have this baby on my keychain right here. The best part about it is so many people mistaken it for an actual key and ask what it fits into. To their surprise I tell them that it is a bottle opener. Love this and would recommend it to anyone. Well worth the buy for a different type of bottle opener.

I love the classy style and hidden use of this bottle opener! Wanted a bottle opener on my keychain that didn't make me look "unprofessional," & this did the trick. Got lots of compliments on the look. However, it kind of sucks (pun intended) at actualy opening bottles. Because the lip of the opener is so thin, you have to use it on the cap in a couple different places before the cap will be able to lift off. A few friends of mine who got this product also complained of the same issue and having to fiddle with it before success every time. Either through frustration or poor quality material, the bottom of mine actually snapped off when my coworker used it after I owned it it for about 4 months, effectively ending its bottle-opening ability altogether.

Vous êtes difficilement repérable mais attention de ne pas sortir une bouteille au volant car tout serait plus facile... Pas d'alcool en conduisant, c'est dangereux pour la santé et surtout celle des autres. Ça reste cher pour ce que c'est, mais heureusement que c'est d'une praticité déconcertante, heureusement. Ne perdez plus vos clés ! LMAO
