This mouse is pretty unbelievable. It is my 1st bluetooth mouse
This mouse is pretty unbelievable. It is my 1st bluetooth mouse, and it is everything I hoped for. I don't have to waste a usb port on my ultra book, and there is no little transmitter to lose. I honestly purchased this thinking "what the heck, it's $15 mouse, if it isn't good, I'm not going to cry over it." I was pleasantly blown away. I am actually enjoying gaming with it, when I figured it would be used only for other, simpler pc uses. Pros 1. Comfortable - This is more comfortable than some $50+ mice I've used. Of course, that may vary person to person, but for my average sized male hands, it is great. If you have large hands, I would say it may be a bit small for you. 2. Simple to use - There is 1 part, the mouse. You put in 2 AAA batteries, flip the switch to "on", and press the pairing button. Your pc/phone/tablet does the rest. It took me roughly 30 seconds from opening to using it. 3. Functional - With the 2 side buttons, left & right click, and scroll clicker, you have 5 buttons that you can map to game commands. -The dpi button allows you to change sensitivity on the fly. - The mouse works on many surfaces. I started using it on my cloth couch, but it works on a smooth table or desk surface just fine as well. 4. If looks matter, it is nice & sleek. I prefer this look over the flashy LED lit mice that are somewhat popular now. It doesn't exactly stand out, but it is a nice minimalist look. Neutral (bc I don't have any cons at this price point) 1. Probably small for people with larger hands. 2. I want to put long battery life in pros, but I haven't had enough time with the mouse yet to know if those claims are true. Keep in mind that battery quality varies wildly, and that can make a large difference. 3. No rechargeable batteries. Obviously this is part of the pricing & would mean making a whole other product with an internal rechargeable, but hey, I want that to happen. I would happily pay an extra $15 or so to not have to worry about the battery dying, even though this model claims long batter life. TLDR Great mouse for the price, comfortable, functional, and I look forward to many house gaming with it.

excellent value for the money,
I was a little worried when I bought this mouse, mainly because of the price. However, I bought it, and after roughly a little more than a month, here are my impressions. Mind you, I was not looking for a high-end gaming mouse, but rather a solid, basic mouse to fill my work needs from home for my laptop, so my impressions are based on this. Overall, if you are looking for a basic, solid mouse that won't break your wallet, I recommend this without hesitation, based on my own experience with this mouse. POSITIVE: - Excellent value for the money. This mouse feels very good in the hand for the price. It's surprisingly ergonomic and feels nice against the hand. I like the way that the mouse conforms to my hand. -The extra buttons on the right hand of the mouse are a feature that I would not have expected to be present in mouse at this price point. They are mapped to go back and forth on Windows, but I am pretty sure that they can be remapped to some other function, though I am satisfied with the back and forth function, and have come to heavily rely on that feature. -The default mouse speed works well for me. It is speedy and responds very quickly the majority of the time, with practically no lag. -The rubber pad along where my thumb rest sand feels comfortable and rather nice. -The mouse wakes up very quickly, almost instantaneously. -The 5-speed mouse function present in the button on top of the mouse works very well and meets all of my particular needs for this mouse. CONS - The plastic feels somewhat cheap, but at this price point, the mouse overall feels pretty solid, for the price point. - The pointer arrow sometimes stutters and lags significantly, and I am sure it's the mouse, given that I have a high-end XPS 13, and the laptop has oodles of processing power. This does not happen often though. I cannot speak about battery life yet, as I have only had it for a little over a month, so I will have to wait for some time to have a better idea of battery life.

Dead after 5 months - but all is well
Edit: After posting my original negative review, I was contacted by the seller (Hippidion.US.Store). They apologized for any inconvenience and offered me a complete refund of my original purchase. I was a bit shocked - 5 months is far beyond Amazon's return window, and I wasn't expecting anything. I moved my review from 1 star to 4, and was even tempted to go all the way to 5. 4 stars for the seller standing behind their product, and one lost star for the dead mouse. I doubt I will purchase the same mouse again, but I will definitely try a different model from the same seller. Original Review: Review written after 5 months of use on a new laptop. The layout of the buttons and ergonomics work well for my use and my hands. When it is working it does what every good mouse does, fades into the background and lets me use my device. My problem is that it has always had difficulty waking up after periods of inactivity. Its was a constant frustration to have a mouse that took longer to wake up than it took to reboot my computer. After sitting unused for a while I had to hit a button on the mouse an wait for it to wake up. This was incredibly frustrating as it wasn't a brief pause, but drawn out period where the device wasn't responsive. I got into the habit of pulling out my computer, tapping a few buttons on the mouse to let it know I was here, and then us the track pad until it decided it wanted to work. My workaround wasn't very good, but once the mouse was up and working I had no problems with it. I figured I could make due until I could justify purchasing a better mouse. Today it died completely. It has fresh batteries, Bluetooth is on and functioning well for other devices, but the mouse will not connect. I have finally had it, and it's time to find something new. I know this is a cheap mouse, and I never had high expectations - but 5 month of frustrating, buggy use is not worth the money paid. Take my advice and find something better.

Great wireless mouse at an awesome price
The Good: - Pairs seamlessly every time with Lenovo laptop. Just push a key on the mouse if it went to sleep to activate it. - Great hand ergonomics. I wear a large glove and the mouse fits nicely in my palm. - Nice left/right button action. Nice positive feel. - Very quiet button actions, almost inaudible. - Works on variety of surfaces. The instructions state you should use a white surface but I often use while laying in bed and using the mouse on a dark blue sheet with no tracking issues. - Love the economic packaging. It came in a small cardboard box just large enough to hold the mouse. - Extra 2 buttons on the thumb indent allow you to move pages forward or backward in browser. - No interference or dropping out for the few days Ive used it. - Reconnected each time my laptop woke up or I switched on the mouse. - No additional thumb size device USB transmitter/receiver required to break from poking out the side of the laptop. - There are 3 resolution settings selected by incrementally pressing the button behind the wheel and the selection is indicated by a corresponding flash of the battery power indicator on lower left of mouse. - Update: After a couple months of constant use the mouse continues to work great. I discovered that after the computer wakes from hibernation a simple push on the the mouse button will instantly reactivate the Bluetooth link. The Bad - Mouse movement becomes jittery when WiFi is heavily loaded, otherwise smooth movement. This could be due to my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop processing performance. - No batteries included. - You have to have a PC with a Bluetooth interface. Conclusion: Great wireless mouse at an awesome price. Liked it so much I bought a 2nd one for a gift.

Lasted 5 years
I got this mouse 5 years ago, and its a fairly good mouse. I mainly used the mouse for playing games on my laptop so i never delt with it going inti sleep mode because i was frequently using it. There wasn't major click lag that i noticed,But nothing is reaction time intensive so i really dont pay much attention to it. I also used this mouse for the last two years in college. I have done 100% online classes, hybrid, and fully in person classes. If you're actively using the mouse it doesn't have an issue with going into sleepmode. Of course if you stop to type a few paragraphs it'll fall asleep, but other then that i dont really recall haveing a problems with it going into sleepmode and being unresponsive. Theres a button on the top of the mouse right behind the wheel that changes the sensitivity of the mouse, something i didn't realize for months when i first bought the mouse. I wanted to point that out because if the sensitivity is very low you're gonna have to move the mouse across your desk to move an inch on screen. I used one of the middle settings and had no issues. Now this is somewhat of a complaint, it feels like you change the batteries frequently. But i also never had anything i used pretty much daily and never once turned off be only powered my batteries. Every other mouse I've used has been the standard wired one so i also never delt with a mouse that had any battery life. Because it was cheap i wasn't at all gentle with this thing, threw it in a carry on bag before multiple long plane trips, tossed it in airport security bins, floated at the bottom of my school bag, dropped it on every type of flooring. last week i took it out of my school bag and saw the plastic cracked, i carry two laptops, hard cover books, hardcover notebook, and also just throw my bag around and drop it a lot. So the fact it cracked wasn't surprising and it still worked fine and wasn't an issue. And again after 5 years i can't be mad. Just 3 days ago i forgot this mouse at the public library,so its long gone. I was having issues connecting it to my laptop that day and had figured it was probably on its last legs so i was going to buy a second one, had i not lost it i would have tried to keep using it. Overall a great mouse i never had a problem with it. Other reviews about people who work desk jobs give it lower stars, and i really dont get why? Like most cite it falling asleep as a problem... but i mean i dont see how its a issue, if its not in use then it falls asleep, use it and it doesn't fall asleep. But a desk job is the one environment i haven't used it in, but i am a history major so i feel like usesge would be similar.

Used to be a great mouse but now it's jumpy and hard to control
Update: After a few months use -- conveniently after the return time -- this mouse has started going wonky. It jumps all over the screen and is hard to control, which is bad if you are trying to do anything much less design work. I've tried using it on a plain surface and a mouse pad with no change. I've also tried adjusting the mouse settings, cleaning it, restarting it, putting in new batteries, etc. and nothing seems to work. I had good luck with my last mouse from them, but this one appears to be a dud and now I'm going to probably have to get a new one after only a few months. Really disappointing. This is a pretty good bluetooth mouse. I really needed one that didn't have a dongle because my Macbook only has two USB ports and I didn't want to waste one of them with a mouse. What's the point of wireless if it still hogs up a USB port? Anyway, this was easy to pair up with my Macbook and works pretty well. When I wake my computer up, I need to click the button on the mouse for a few seconds to get it to wake up as well, but then it's all good. I do use a mousepad with it, but the table I'm using my laptop on is very shiny so it wouldn't work well without one. Your desktop may work differently. It fits my hand well and isn't too small. I'm a woman and my hands are average -- medium size gloves, if that helps -- so if you're a man with big hands, this may not work for you. I've had smaller ones and they make my hands cramp up after awhile. This fits the curve of my hand well and it's comfortable to use for long periods of time. I find that I have to change the battery about once a month, but I use it pretty much every day for work so that's fine by me. Besides, it only needs two AAA batteries and you can get the Amazon brand fairly cheap. Every once in awhile, the mouse does get a little jumpy, but overall it works fairly well. Usually when it starts acting up, I just put new batteries in. I'm not sure if that's always the problem, but it seems to work. I just wish there was some indicator light on top that would tell you when the batteries truly are low. This is the second or third mouse I've bought to work with my laptop and so far it's my favorite. I do a lot of graphic and photo work so I need one that is accurate and smooth. I'll probably upgrade once I can afford something a bit more high end but so far this has worked well for me.

Great affordable bluetooth mouse with just a couple shortcomings. UPDATE <1YR: scroll wheel worn
I've had mine for a couple months now and it continues to be reliable. It pairs immediately, is responsive, hasn't missed a beat, and I haven't had to replace the battery yet. At first I thought it was a little bit undersized for my large hands, but I adjusted pretty quickly and now find it quite comfortable (I'd still be thrilled if it were about 10-20% larger, but it's probably perfectly sized for most people). It almost reminds me of a smaller, cheap version of my preferred Microsoft Surface Precision Ergonomic mouse, which is extremely high praise. And the DPI button was an unexpected bonus! My only significant criticism is that the on/off switch on the bottom is hard to use. You pretty much have to use your fingernail to get it to budge, and it's extremely hard to find in the dark. This could be designed much better. But ultimately, if you're looking for an affordable bluetooth mouse, I can attest that this is an excellent option. [note: I've only used this with a Windows laptop--I can't vouch for functionality with other operating systems, or even multi-device switching] UPDATE: I've had this for 9 months now, casual to light use (often go weeks without using it, but sometimes might use it for >5 hours at a time). Mouse still works, connection is very reliable, but the scroll wheel is wearing out. If you try to scroll slowly, the wheel won't reach a new detent and thus will not scroll. Scrolling slightly faster still works, but it's only a matter of time before it gets even worse. One of the things I liked about this mouse is that the batteries are replaceable. Problem is, at this rate, you'll only get about two sets of batteries worth of usage (superb battery life, BTW!) before you want a new mouse. So it once again ends up being true that you usually get what you pay for. If you're in need of a cheap short-term wireless/bluetooth mouse, this is still a great option--just need to emphasize "short-term." If you are expecting a mouse that will last you several years, best stick with Microsoft, Logitech, Dell/HP. Will you find one of those as cheap as this with the same feature set? Not a chance. But in the long run, you'll almost certainly end up saving money by buying from a known quality brand. The midrange Microsoft mouse that this replaced lasted >8 years reliably, cost about 3x as much... if I bought a new one of these every year, I'd have spent twice as much. "Buy once, cry once." This is a lesson I never seem to stop learning.
