Could the snails freeze while being shipped? (It’s snowing where I live)

do you sell snails in a female only pack?

Our snails are sold as unsexed and we do not have only female packs at the moment. Thank you :)

Do they live in water or out of the water or do they need to be high ground they can get up on

They live in water . In your tank, when they need air they will go to the top of your tank and get it. They won't survive out of water.

Besides food, which I use snail pellets they love and head for as soon as they hit the tank, make sure there are enough minerals in the water to keep the shells growing strong. Lack of minerals results in brittle and eaten away shells. Either use spring water with minerals in your tank or add a cuttlefish bone (yes, the ones used for parakeets). It floats, but you can put partially in gravel to hold down. The snails do not eat it rather it adds mineral to the water as it dissolves over the course of many months.
