Adapter from butane to isobutane item
I tried the MSR version before this and got butane all over my hands and shirt. Has a different attachment port. This one is super easy, line up the can metric with the adapter, push in and turn. Will lock in place. Excellent design. Used it in the woods numerous times and works fine. Is small enough to pack and not get in the way. Would suggest this before the MSR.

Super effective piece of kit!
What a great adapter! I was able to quickly set it up to run my Coleman micro stove on a very inexpensive 8oz butane cylinder. Fantastic! Just remember that this is a pass-through adapter and has no shut off valve, so you will want to attach the stove first, ensure the stove's valve is closed, then attach the fuel source.

Very happy and I ordered a second one. The adapter appears very well made and allow for the option of using another type of fuel. It never hurts to have different fuel options depending the what is available and the cost at the the time. I use mine more than once a week so reliability and fuel options / cost is important to me.

Wanted this because the fuel is cheaper in the "paint can" container than the 100 gr and 230 gr sizes. When the popular sizes are gone ....this size will still be on the shelf because of fewer users.

This is only a component. To operate as a stove you need to purchase additional components. Description was vague about this.
