I need to add 40 feet to this harness. Received it today, reviewed instructions which did not answer my question. Can I use 16 guage wire?

That all depends how many amps you are pulling. At 40 feet the minimum wire size is 12 gauge for 0-5 amps. If I were you I would not use that harness at all for that length of a run. Why does this not fit a polaris ranger northstar?

Will this handle a 180 watt light bar & a 96 watt light bar together. If not what would you suggest?

Hello Cary S. The wiring harness includes two connections for two sets of lights. With one relay attached. Relay is rated at 180w (max. wattage) / max Amp. 15A. This will switch on both lamps from a single power source. With both lamps applied. Output power will be determinied on the power source from your vehicles battery. Always start with clean non corroded connections. I applied two relays so that i had the option to switch either lamp (lightbar) on. That each light had its own relay rated for input output wattage. and dual inline fuses to protect the light bar and vehicle. You may also contact the manufacture via the NiLight website.
