Pretty good poles; tighten often; donโt fit in Medium suitcase.
Iโve been using these poles for quite a while now, mainly on my daily walks with my dog. I have minor balance issues and have had knee replacements, so I do use a cane at times. But walking my dogs is a little difrerent. I am waking on sidewalks, streets grass, dirt, gravel, etc. I need to keep my balance, watch where Iโm stepping, and watch my dog. Iโve found the walking pole keeps me more upright than a cane, and the strap hslps support my wrist. I like the anti-shock feature, but really would like a way to lock it in place! As I walk, the pole turns just enough at times to twist the anti-shock feature into the off position. I am constantly having to re-twist the pole to the on position. Iโve had a couple of times where the pole slipped and shortened while using it. I just ensure I tighten the section that adjusts the height periodically. I do find this pole easier to adjust that the ones with a lever-lock system. Iโve been using one pole consistently while walking my dog every day and the wrist strap just gave out and broke. I suppose I should have been alternating poles every day, but I keep the second pole at my back door for use in the yard. Iโm going to see of I can make or buy a replacement strap. Overall, I would recommend this set of walking poles woth one caveat - they do not collapse enough to fit inside a medium-size hard-side suitcase. I was traveling last year and wanted to take these. They would have to be checked, so I tried them in my bag. Since they did not fit, I bought another set that collapsed smaller. After our trip I gave that set to my sister because she and her husband are avid hikers. I continue to use these every day!

Perfect for my medical needs
I love thses. I can't use regular crutches due to a subluxated shoulder and connective tissue disease. I am also an ambulatory paraplegic. This set of poles help with transfers into and from my wheelchair, help with stability when I need it for walking short distances like checking the mailbox outside. I can stand on my feet no longer than 10 minutes at a time so I don't need full weight bearing sticks but I did need a set for balance due to my incomplete spinal cord injury. These were cheaper and less bulky than my old under arm crutches. They weigh less than my recently broken forearm crutches did which is great for the connective tissue issue. The poles fit into the adjustable crutch holders on the back of my wheelchair just fine. The sticks adjust easy. I made one into a transfer stick for my bed and I carry the other with me to stores since I don't need both at the same time when out doing errands. It's too dangerous for me to go do errands without my wheelchair but with one of these on hand I can stand and reach a high shelf item instead of asking someone to get something for me all the time now. When I'm not out doing errands I keep one stick in the bathroom so I don't have to hunt down a tranfer stick all the time. I plan to do this for each room that I use most often so I will invest in another pair of these soon. I love the different tips that came with them. I switch the tips out depending on weather conditions and flooring. Hospital floors require a better grip than carpet does but the tips fit great in my wheelchair bag for a quick swap when needed. During a short walk (10 minutes is my limit) the pair works wonders for balance on sidewalks, grass, and rocky driveways.

Cheap and light, unsurprising lack of durability
These poles are light and compact, which unfortunately makes them prone to bending. Over the course of the backpacking trip I bought them for, these poles got bent and twisted and rebent more times than I can count. The spring mechanism also interfered with the retractability which made it very difficult to adjust the height. And even when I was able to get the right height, the poles would slowly collapse over the course of a day of hiking, getting shorter and shorter with each step. By the end of the trip the collapsible sections were permanently locked into place (partly because they were so bent and partly because of mud). The poles were both bent and stuck at different lengths, so I threw them in the trash. After one trip.

Separated after one time
Edited Update, 1 Apr 2026: During the last 4 daily uses, all was going well. But, today, about 7.5 minutes into my walk, one of the poles started collapsing. :-( And, because I wasn't holding it correctly, I was unable to tighten it. But, when I got back to my place, I did. SO, BE SURE TO RE-TIGHTEN THEM EVERY FEW USES. Edited Update, 28 March 2026: Replacement Trekking Poles received promptly (within 2 days). Both poles look to be okay (last time, the red plug was poking out on both poles), and have 3 uses on them. Though, I still think, the tubular locking points, would be better than, the telescopic twist to tighten. ... While the poles look nice, the telescoping feature really isn't that good. It would be better, if they had 1 inch space tubular locking points. It took a couple of attempts to get the poles to lock into position. And, during my first short walk, they worked fine. But, just as I started out on my 2nd walk, one of the poles separated, and I can't get it to fit correctly.

For those who are new to tracking only
The product is very nice, you can all get it. Those who like tracking and want a low-budget stick can definitely buy it.I have gained quite a bit of confidence with this sticker. My weight is around 70 kg. It is light to carry and very beautiful. It is definitely worth buying.
