Depends on the liquid chalk. Sharpie worked great. Other brands don’t.

No. It's a flexible vinyl material that has a sticky back so no metal in it. You ccould tape something to it.

You can as long as you don’t peel the backing off

It says don't expose it to sun because it will bubble. So probably not good for windows.
