Is the bottom of the pan smooth or ridged? I want to use it on a glass cooktop and it must be perfectly smooth so as not to hurt the stove.

You want the RAISED colored ridges as seen in the photo of the bottom of the pan. Otherwise the silver aluminum contacts that glass cooktop service and leaves PERMANENT marks on the glass cooktop. You cannot get them off 100%... I learned this the HARD WAY with my last stove. It still cooks EVENLY.

Can this be used on an induction stove?
