Excellent product to restore white tile grout
Needed to restore the white tile grout in a 10 year old shower. I noticed the tile gout had lost its original bright white color due to daily shower use. Found this product on amazon, and a word, this is TERRIFIC to restore white tile grout to a bright white. Some thoughts on using it: - the nozzle in the plastic tube has a plastic tip at the end that can be snipped off before using, but after doing this with the first tube, I found it squeezed out far too much material for the grout lines, which I had on my tile which I would guess are somewhere between 1/16 - 1/32 in width. When I used the larger diameter hole, it applied too much grout and I found myself having to clean too much material and also using up more than necessary. I recommend measuring the width of the grout lines in your tile, then using a drill bit that's approx. 1/2 the width of the grout line to make the hole in the nozzle. When I did this with the second tube of grout repair, I had much better results: much less excess material and much less to clean up. - after applying the grout to the tile grout lines, use your finger tip to lightly work it into the grout line itself and smooth it out. Doing this, you'll find yourself having to clean your finger tip allot with a damp cloth. - make sure to have a couple of damp cloths to wipe any excess material off the ceramic tile, as even with a smaller hole in the nozzle I still found myself having the clean the material off the tile. - DO NOT try to do too large an area before smoothing it out with your finger and cleaning any excess off the ceramic tile, as the material sets up rather quickly. Like in 1-2 minutes. I applied the material on the horizontal grout line first, then the vertical grout lines, then smoothed out the material and wiped the excess off the ceramic tile with a damp cloth. As for the clean-up cloth, use something like small pieces of an old t-shirt, which is smooth to the touch. DO NOT use a cleaning cloth made of terry cloth material: the loops in the terry cloth will "dig into" the just repaired grout line and remove the material you just applied. - The material is not like caulk in its consistency - it's more like a grout material. With that said, it will be dull in appearance - not shiny - which is what you would want. - the only complaint I have with the product is that if you try to use this product to do a small repair to some grout lines like I did (tried to fill in where some holes had formed in the original grout), the contrast in the very white new repaired area was very different in appearance (far whiter in color), that found myself having to do the whole wall. However, if you didn't know, you'd think the shower tile was just installed. VERY impressed with how this product will made the shower walls look brand new. - Lastly - be sure to wait at least 24 hours before exposing the repaired area to water, such as using the shower again. Ideally I would even wait 48 hours if you can.

basically does the job,
its a bit runny, recommend using a paint brush and/or snipping the tip to make a really small hole. removes when dry with a razor blade.

Surprisingly good and easy
Who knew grout repair products were impossible to find in a brick-mortar store? Amazon to the rescue. Many reviews of this product made me dread its arrival. At the same time, I was prepared for special handling. Anticipating something like a tube of toothpaste, I was dismayed at a tube weighing 14.12 ounces. Because reviewers described it as soft and runny, I carefully removed layer by layer with nail clippers the tip till a tiny spot went into the tube. Using a large pin to make the hole slightly bigger, prepared with protective gloves, and a tissue to wipe off any excess that might present itself, I carefully squeezed in grout required to close the tiny mm wide openings. If this review makes the list for the curious, if you're careful (and forewarned) it's use is easy peasy. (It occurs to me that it might be different if a major grout repair, but again...make a small opening and start there. You can always enlarge if needed.)

work quickly - small area first
The grout restorer was thinner than I had imagined. It was the consistency of melted ice cream and was hard to control out of the tube. I just tipped the tube and it flowed out on its own. I wanted to fill low grout in a few spots and restore white color where dirty feet had discolored the grout. I tried to wipe the excess with a rag (old washcloth) and spread excess grout restorer into all the grout lines. I waited too long and it dried on the tiles. I then used the rag, green scrubbing pad, sandpaper, and finally a chisel (wrapped in the rag) to scrape the tiles. I can attest to the fact that it will adhere to the tiles and will not come off!! It looks good and would look better if I did some more scrubbing. I previously used powdered grout with acrylic liquid additive but it didn't adhere and washed out of the grout lines I just touched up the grout again and worked it into the joints with my finger then rubbed the excess off with a towel. I save wood handles from disposable foam brushes so I cut the end at an angle and it worked great to scrub excess off the tiles and didn't scratch or leave marks and I was able to do corners and just beside grout lines.

Wish it is thicker than runny …
Wish it is thicker than runny, we have grout spots here and there in our bathroom wall tiles that have falling out over the years. I wanted to touch it up and fill it in for the time being until we can renovate the bathroom. Got this grout repair to fix all the spots but it is sort of runny. It does do the job, but the problem is, you fill it in, it is runny rather than on the thicker side so it doesn’t stay filling the cracks. I have to wait for it to dry and then refill the spot again, just ended up having to take more them to keep going it until it fills in. Other than that, it does dry up and do the job it is suppose to do.

Miracle
This grout repair far exceeded my expectations. It filled cracks well - invisible! I took other users idea & had my husband drill a small hole in the top. That makes it easier to handle & minimizes waste. Instead of my finger, I used a small foam brush (thanks Amazon). the brush speeds up application tremendously. I did the grout on all 3 of my bathroom floors. Instead of wiping as I went, I came back & used a razor scraper to remove any excess that got on the tile. One reviewer was right, it looks so good that you end up doing the whole area. VERY PLEASED!!!

Grout! Not vinyl!
I was looking for actual “grout” filler. This is it! The cap design prevents well from drying. I will definitely buy again if I need.

Miracoloso

Bad smell, ok effect
It was a bit rinny, smell awful. But it kind of does what it says. It covers holes in the grout and leave a chalky look. It was a bit to white for my walls though.
