Would this moss work for a terrarium for a boa snake that requires a tropical environment

No, this moss would not be healthy for a terrarium or for little living creatures as it is specifically for decorating only. I think it has been treated with a type of color and or maybe preservative. I use it to decorate crafts. It is perfect for that.

Wanting to use this as a centerpiece for our outdoor wedding. Will it blow away?

Probably not a good idea. I used a spray adhesive to make it stick together for small areas in an indoor Halloween village. It really depends on how you secure the pieces in the centerpiece. They are pieces—not sheets of moss. But very good quality.

Is this moss supposed to smell very strongly of mildew? We could smell mildew before the box was even opened!!

Because this moss was naturally dried, you may be smelling raw smell of moss

How much space does it cover? Would it be enough 1ft× 48ft space? I have 12 tables that need a 1ft×4ft section of moss in the center

I purchased the 3lb flat sheet box and no that would not be enough for 1' by 48'. None of the pieces are the same size, so if you want an exact even straight edges, get it in the rolls. These are various sizes, not even in anyway, which is more natural looking to me, but I could understand in a table setting where you might not want that depending on the look you are going for. There are small to large pieces, some of which you may want to tear apart. I would suggest you get a box and test on one of your tables to know how much you could use.

Hardy, realistic. I used this moss for outdoor artificial trees. Here at the Jersey Shore the rugged winter to spring climate accentuated with ferocious strong winds challenged the product’s durability; which met & surpassed my expectations. Excellent product. Worth the price

Excellent for craft use

Excellent moss for indoor silk plants and silk trees. Looks natural and there is plenty left over for future ideas with the amount we received. Not a huge awful smell, not a whole lot of dust, easily to pull apart and filled pots in nicely. Cost factor was a lot less than in store prices. The Quality is extremely good. Highly recommend

I LOVED the quantity and the quality! I recently bought 4 tiny packages of Spanish Moss from a big box hardware store for the cost of the Royal Imports Preserved Natural Spanish Moss, Fresh Dried, Loose Chunks, 3 LB box. The "chunks" are closer to "sheets" - easily spreadable for moisture retention and drapable over the indoor and patio pots for an artsy, florist look. The color is a fresh looking light gray. There were NO mold or scent issues. I will definitely reorder. Great Deal!
