Augason Farms Country Fresh Instant Nonfat Dry Milk Powder

You know how lousy dry milk always tastes? Well, brace yourself, this stuff is amazing. It seriously tastes like regular, whole milk. Like you just brought in a cold 1/2 gallon from the market. We don’t use a ton of milk, so buying it in even a half gallon led to a lot of waste. Enter this! We just follow the mixing guide for amounts & mix it in a shaker bottle. Like you use for a protein drink. Shake a little & you’re good to go. It’s even good enough to eat in your cereal or drink. Amazing. Oh, we use it a lot for baking and cooking. It works exactly like normal milk. Worth every dime. Oh, when we pop a new can, we decant it into quart or pint mason jars. Throw in an oxygen absorber until we pop that specific jar. Keeps it fresh til you’re ready to go.

I am single and don't use much milk, but I haven't liked previous "powdered milk" products because f their taste. This product is great. I'm not sure I'd say it tastes "exactly" like milk, but it is darn close. I am single and don't use much milk, but buying milk by the quart or half gallon is s much more expensive than a gallon. As much as I use, a gallon would go bad before I used it up. I just open a can of Dairy Fresh, and I have enough milk to last over a month with no worries about it going bad. Its shelf life is ten years unopened, so I can buy it ahead and use it at my cabin which is very remote and I don't get to town more than once a month. I did have a minor problem with one can and Augasn was very easy to work with to fix it. Good company, good prduct, good taste, I have NO cmplaints.

I purchased a second can because I liked the quality and convenience. I use it mainly for recipes that call for milk. I love the convenience of not spoiling; I left the packets for freshness inside and it has kept the powder fresh. Worth buying.

I really like the fact that this Milk powder tastes as good as what I purchase in a store. But I bought this for a healthier creamer for my Coffee. As most people don't realize that the creamers even though in powdered form. Are laden with oils and have SUGAR and in some cases sodium in the ingredients. But THIS Fresh Powdered Milk doesn't have anything like that and in fact I can read all of the few ingredients. And as long as you mix it really well (No lumps) then refrigerate overnight. It tastes like store bought milk. When my kids were younger I'd save my milk jugs. And at night after they went to sleep. I'd mix the milk and just to sweeten the milk I'd add a Teaspoon of sugar to the mixed milk shake extremely well. Put in the fridge. Did this for months they never figured it out. Plus YOU save a lot of money as Well.

I would have given 5 stars, as I can tell this is a great product--the powder instantly dissolves, the milk has great flavor, it is packaged with care. It's great! But in spite of two oxigen-trapping "sachets" inside the can of powered milk, the milk still apparently contains oxidized cholesterol (inherent in the manufacturing of the powder). A few years ago, during the pandemic (when there was a milk shortage), I tried a different powdered milk--I got a mild stomach upset. Googled and found that even non-fat powdered milk can contain oxidized cholesterol, which is hard to (if not impossible to) digest and can cause nausea. Well, I thought I would try again. Massive nausea! So dissapointed, as this is a very good product, but not for those of us with sensitivity to oxidized cholesterol in powered milks.

Excelente producto, pero OJO, solo si vives dentro de EUA… No llega completo en Mexico… de 10 latas solo me llegó UNA 😡 Me estafaron. A ver si esta reseña Sí la dejan. Ya que he intentado escribirla y nunca la ponen. La empresa no respondió mi reclamo. Si vives en méxico, NO LO PIDAS! Si tienes PO Box en EUA y vas por el pedido, Sí pídelo. 😉
