Arrived well packaged. Easy to assemble and adjust tension. High enough for me and very well built. The seat and back are very firm,which is what i was looking for, and the fabric is very pretty. Great price for a very nice chair.

This chair is much better looking than the picture. It's always difficult to tell from a small picture on a computer screen if the colors will coordinate with the rest of the furniture in my room. At a distance it does look like a warm, rich brown, but it has several shades of brown and black with highlights that are slightly gold and rust... no green or red undertones. I tried to get good close-ups of the upholstery so you can see how many different colors there are. On my screen my photos look like there is some green, but it think it's more a combo of the yellow/gold next to black threads that come out looking like green in a flash picture. It's too dark and gloomy outside this time of year to get a good daylight picture. The chair is actually a little darker and richer looking than the Amazon picture which was what I hoped for. It seems like good quality upholstery with a tight weave that should wear well. The pattern and colors will hide spots and spills... but maybe not white cat hair! I really like the style. It looks like a nice upholstered chair that doesn't scream recliner! I've never liked the looks of recliners and didn't want a recliner in my living room. I broke my arm 8 months ago and had to sleep sitting up in a makeshift nest of pillows in the corner of the couch with feet propped up on the ottoman. It was too soft to be very comfortable or easy to get out of it with a painful right arm. Unfortunately my arm has not healed so I'm due to have surgery in a couple of weeks. Again, I will need to sleep sitting up. The cushion of this recliner is firm enough to to be supportive and it makes it easier to get out of. The back has pretty good lumbar support . There is padding on the footrest which is comfortable for a few hours. I may need a pillow under my knees to sleep through the night. I needed a chair that reclines without a handle (remember...broken right arm... I'm right handed of course) It reclines fairly easily, but getting the footrest down is a little tricky. Need to press down with the legs while pulling forward on the arm. It may prove difficult with an arm in a sling and a sore hip (where the bone graft will be taken from). I'll update this post after I've had to sleep in the recliner for a while. So far I love this chair and am contemplating buying a second. Good buy for the money.

This chair is great! Just what i wanted. The softer brown tones with some red details and textures fit very well into our not so formal living area. It works so well in the room with the woodstove. If you are looking for a recliner that does not looks so "recliner-ish" then this is the chair. It is not oversized but still has its cushions are very supportive and comfortable. I like the higher back and how top cushion has extra padding to make it even more supportive when leaning back. I am 5'11" and can sit in it comfortably and my feet do not hang over the footrest so that's good. Plenty of room for my height. I find it very comfortable. It works well and seems a good value for the quality. Assembly was a breeze. Only thing of a slight negative is out of the box the recliner seemed loose to me. I have tightened the tensioning screws and still a bit loose so will have to do more. I like to remain in the 1/2 reclined position and if the screws are not adjusted the seat will recline on its own to full recline if you put pressure on the back. I wish there was a way to "lock" it in the 1/2 reclined position. I am still working on finding the right tension with the screws to keep it more in the 1/2 reclined position. But otherwise, it's a great and comfortable chair. Perfect for what I needed.

This is a very beautiful and comfortable recliner. I was very pleased to see that. But I didn't expect to need to assemble it. It came with four legs which needed to be screwed on. No problem, except that there were no instructions to tell which legs went where (they are different). I had to go back on Amazon and look at the photos. It is a heavy chair. The back is separate and someone needs to lift it onto the brackets while someone else guides it into place. But after it was assembled, it looked great. Unfortunately, one of the arms, right on top, has a rather noticeable flaw in the fabric. Over all, I am pleased. Don't know about the flaw. I guess I'll just live with it.

Sturdy, elegant, as a recliner enthusiast, this is the best I’ve ever owned. Easy to assemble, thoughtfully packaged. No cranks or buttons, simply lean back to activate recline motion, whether a little or a lot. We have a thick carpet but that doesn’t hinder the flip out footrest mechanism, unlike our old one. The cushions are very firm, the material seems well made and heavy. Very, very pleased!

They arrived on time and were shipped in cartons ♥️ Love the look, the pattern is so rich looking, and they sit nice and firm, pushing it back to recline was a little stiff at first but soon became easier... my only problem is that the back legs appears the wrong legs were sent bc they fit and screw in although they are too big and stick from the side of the recliner and if that isn’t bad enough it isn’t stained and is An eye sore...

I bought this chair 5 years ago and it is holding up great. Fabric still looks great.

Received my chair, easy to remove from packaging and well protected for shipping. Very easy set up, screw in the legs, set the back into the metal tracks and push into place, ready to go. Push back was a little loose for me so adjusting with the wing bolts took some trial and error but very easy to do. Fabric is lovely, shading in the colors is subtle but pretty. Fabric is tight weave so should wear well. I’m 5’2” so it’s a bit tall for me, my feet don’t quite touch the floor in the upright position but when pushed back is very comfortable, firm and has good lumbar support. Chair appears to be well made and sturdy. Would definately recommend.

This chair exceeded all expectations. Quality of constuction, comfort, ease of assembly, fabric quality, etc. True to image as advertised. The speed of processing my order and delivery was outstanding! 1 week from the time of order was all it took to come from California to Orillia, ON, Can. I am unable to comment on durability since I just received it but am so impressed, I immediately ordered a second one.

These chairs are everything they were advertised to be. Very rich looking chairs and so comfortable. I purchased two and if they send me another one for free I WOULD KEEP IT TOO. oh DID i mention we love them.

Would buy again. I'm just over 6'1" so tall seat height just right, for me.. Little darker in color than pix dsclose. Low arm height important to me. .Great experience with product supplier as I originally purchased online directly through their USA website but due to unknown actual $US to $Can exchange and usual additional credit card upcharges for their exchange effort the bottom line delivered price was an unknown; they gladly cancelled and I purchased through Amazon.ca and, of course, pricing was as stated in $Can. Chair shipped from California and arrived very quickly, safely packaged. Attached the legs - front are different than the rear - and slid top into base. No tools required - other than to open box. Seat is firm-solid construction, so, hoping to get many years use out of this chair.

Well upholstered, comfortable recliner. Rich brown colour. Quiet operation. Very sturdy. We are very pleased with the purchase.

chair looks great and is very comfortable but have to put it quite away from wall to fully recline.
