Fantastic socks
I bought these socks before a now legendary hiking trip. I wore these socks along with some ankle socks and my KEEN Women's Gypsum WP Hiking Shoe, Raven/Baltic, 9 M US hiking shoes. We hiked into the Bankhead National Forest in the Sipsey Wilderness area. No trails at all, bring clippers to cut brambles and briars out of the way type of hike. Because there are only 10 people allowed per group in the Sipsey Wilderness, we broke up into two groups. The leader of our group wasn't as familiar with the area as he thought he was and we ended up wading about a mile up the wrong creek. When our mistake was discovered, we had to hike back out as quickly as possible, and ended up getting out of the forest as darkness was falling, thanks to the group member who had marked his car with a GPS location. I ended up with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever from a tick bite and a torn calf muscle due to pushing on when I had a huge calf cramp while climbing a very steep section of hill. It was an adventure! Anyway, these socks performed very well. They allowed my feet to stay dry in the waterproof keen shoes (which made my feet sweat on a subsequent hike during which I did not wear these socks) and they prevented any rubbing so even though I hiked for eight hours, I did not get any blisters. Instead of my socked foot rubbing against the inside of my shoes, the two layers of socks (these and jogging type angle socks) rubbed against each other. My feet did not overheat, and the socks gave a very satisfactory performance. They worked really well after the creek wade when I had to swap out of water shoes back into my keen shoes. They were easy to get on my feet even though my feet were damp and I'm convinced these socks are the reason I escaped the wilderness without a blister.

PERFECT!!!
I have been searching for decent socks for years. I use these as primary socks...not liners. These are really thin so your feet stay nice and cool. They are bomb proof. I walk at least 5 miles a day and they haven't gotten any wear marks, holes or snags, after a month's worth of walking. The elastic isn't tight, but they also don't bunch up or fall down. I have 2 cats and four rabbits, and these don't pick up any animal hair at all. I hate paying $11 for a pair of socks, but these are good enough that I ultimately ordered 24 pairs so I don't have to worry about wearing crappy socks again. It's amazing how something as seemingly insignificant as socks can have such an impact on your general comfort.

Run easily but still work
Not very durable, which is not terribly surprising due to the thin fabric (which is of course the denier one needs in a sock LINER). They get runs in them easily…I put them in mesh lingerie bags before putting in the machine. (They still work O.K. as liners even with the runs.) They are soft, fit well, and definitely protect the foot.

Good, thin, durable
I use these over toe socks, really thin In*in*is. I have been able to avoid blisters this way. And I think/imagine it helps them last longer. These wick moisture very effectively. They are very thin but durable polypro. Dry very quickly. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Worked, as described!
Was able to complete 14 mile mountain hike, these worked great. Also taped my feet, but saved me from getting blisters. Wore these as inner socks, wore wool as outer layer

Not the quality they used to be.
I loved these after I got several a few years ago. Great quality and I still use those same ones. I ordered four pair of these new ones and they’re nothing like the old ones. Way thinner, shorter, and not the quality they once were. The new ones are almost like pantry hose. I’ll have to look around for a new brand.

The BEST!!
If you’ve got sweaty feet, GET THESE! Used during hunting season, 4+ hrs on end, and temps from -5 to 32. Obviously layering is key, these guys kept my feet nice and dry all the time every time! Yes, you pay for what you get. I tried other brands which cannot compete. Highly recommend! If fox river made this at an ankle high or no show, I’m sure I’d buy enough to wear every day!!

Excellent liner sock!
I wear heavy, insulated, waterproof, work boots. I use these as liner socks inside wool socks and have had my feet in the boots for up to 24 hours in the North Dakota oil patch. my feet stay dry, because of the liner sock, and the 40 below socks take in the moisture while staying warm. A great combination for my uses. No blisters, and if carefully put on (no wrinkles) they keep my feet comfortable for extended periods. It doesn't get any better than that in my work environment.

They saved me from blisters on a hike.
Used these socks inside the main pair of hiking socks on an expedition. I believe they saved me from getting blisters and are a great product. Good quality and a comfortable fit. I didn't think they were especially warm on their own but as liners, that's not their job. The only problem was not buying enough for me to have a fresh pair each day - live and learn...!

Excellent blister prevention
Bought new hikers and broke them in on several day hikes, but then after a four day trek, I realized they were slightly oversized - by the end of the first day on the trail, blisters were forming, and 63 km later my feet were covered in blisters! I bought these socks and tried them out on my next multi-day trek and I had absolutely no issues! 100% recommend for blister prevention.
