My microwave is 1000w, so just heated at 15 seconds, the instructions tell you what temperature. I had stye coming on, it really helped with pain. For treatment, use Ximonyh Chalazion Treatment Cream, also available at Amazon. Both worked a treat

I cannot praise this item enough! I have had a hard white spot on my lower lid for several months. Doctor suggested warm compress daily - I did it several times a day for a month with no effect. I have used this compress for 3 weeks and it’s nearly gone. I know some people have said that their problem was solved within a few days but I expected mine to take longer. So easy to use. You will need to buy more lid wipes but I was happy to do that. I get good use from wipes by tearing one into 3, then putting 2 parts back in the foil packet for use later in the day and tomorrow.

This is okay. Handy that it’s for one eye rather than two, so I can still see whilst treating my sore eye. I agree with the comments that it doesn’t keep its heat well. You’ve probably got less than a minute with the heat you actually need to treat a stye. I kept it on for 5 mins each time but imo it didn’t stay warm enough to have much effect. Felt relieving though.

Did not work for me (had a chalazion and was recommended by a specialist). It also caused sparks in my microwave a couple of times. But it was very soothing when heated and worn.

I used it whenever I get pain in my eyes. It works good.

Have had ongoing problems with styes and blocked glands in my eyes for some time. I already have one of their eye masks, which I thought needed renewing, but thought I would try the patch this time so that I could still go about my business, or watch TV, whilst using it. I don't find this anywhere near as good. As a previous review says, the beads fall to the bottom of the patch so that, unless you are laid with your head back, the patch does not press against your eye and swings away from your face or just dangles down, meaning you have to press on it to get the heat where it's meant to be! Tightening the velcro strap makes no difference. If I have to lie with my head back then I would rather do it with the mask on, and have both eyes covered for 10 or 15 minutes. The mask doesn't have to be held in place constantly and I also think it stays warm for longer as it has a lot more beads in, of course. This patch is a nice idea in theory but practically it's just not very good.

I have not seen any other single eye hot compresses. This is a great idea, and there should certainly be a market for it. However, nobody involving with designing this compress could have possibly ever tried it out. The strap is useless for anyone whose head is larger than a toddler's. If you are having eye pain, the very last thing you would want is an incredibly tight elastic strapped around your head barely being held together by a piece of sharp velcro clustered in your hair. And even if you were able to join the velcro ends, the elastic is pulled so taut that the compress is flipped away from the eye by the tension. The makers of this eye compress need to buy a few sleeping eye masks to see how to make an adjustable strap that fits LOOSELY around the head yet allows for a comfortably snug (never tight) fit. Until that happens, this is a fine compress to use without the strap or in combination with an eye patch that has a more forgiving and adjustable closure system.

Y solo es cuestión de repetir la operación para los 10 minutos diarios recomendables para el tratamiento del orzuelo. Otra genialidad es que es para un solo ojo, porque solo tengo el problema en un ojo y otros antifaces cubren ambos, lo cual no necesito. Así que por eso le doy 5 estrellas.

This is really good! It stays warm a lot longer than using a wet face washer or anything similar. It’s also good in that you can wear it without having to hold it to your eye
