Fantastic camera
I want to give it 4.5 stars but...this camera is almost perfect. It connects to wifi easy. I love the bracket. But 2 weeks after I installed the micro SD, it lost its connection to it. I have to get the mini screwdriver and pull off the cover to unplug it and hope it reconnect when I plug it back in. But the image quality is perfect. I do highly recommend it!

Well worth the price
I rarely give five stars, but between the functionality, ease of use, cost, and durability, this little guy gets five. Money well spent.

I like the view!
4 years ago I bought this camera and I have used it both outside the house and inside because it is very easy to install and uninstall. For the outside, I highly recommend it because it is durable, of good quality, and gives you a lot of security. You have to pay for the app membership, which is nothing! And it has many functions to make the camera to your liking. Keep in mind that you will always have eyes in your house when you are not there. It's worth paying for this camera.

Limited Life ! ! (Planned obsolescence ? ? ?)
I've purchased several of these cameras over the years. They respond and work well for about 2yrs. When ready to fail they give some warning - not functioning properly. But for approx. $65, plan on replacing them after a couple years. Was a little difficult deleting a non-working camera using the app. ( A 3yr warranty is offered ? ? ?)

Exceptional camera very easy to setup
This is my first security camera and I researched extensively as to which one would be best for me. I quickly discovered there is an endless supply of all types wired, wireless, 1080 to 4K etc… I also noticed each had its critics, some severe so it wasn’t easy to decide. I then decided to purchase what I needed and spend mid range as I needed good night vision. So this camera is mounted outside to keep vigil over my boat, and I could not have spotlights or sirens going off so there had to be controls allowing flexibility. I also wanted to be able to easily access the camera from my iPhone and rotate the view. I came across from IMOU it wasn’t one that thousands had purchased but it appeared to have all the functions I needed. I was hesitant about buying a Wi-Fi version as there were negative reviews saying how hard wired was best. We’ll thinking back on today’s computer and technology products and how you really can’t tell the fastest or best unless you are using expensive test equipment and I didn’t want to drill holes thru my walls I decided to try this Wi-Fi version…WOW So now to the camera, the pictures tell the story. One is during the daytime the other at full dark. Now the nighttime picture was taken with no floodlight. I used both full color and inferred both provided same results. It was super easy to set this camera up. First download the IMOU app setup your account, scan the code on the back of the camera mount the camera and plug it in. Again WOW beautiful picture, super quiet operation, fully remote viewed and controlled what more do you need. Oh yes they offer cloud storage and let you test that for 7 days but the camera also accepts 256 gb micro sad card. I will review this again after a few months but initially I am extremely satisfied with. This product. Oh, I am not a professional reviewer and have not been compensated for this review in any way.

Good Toys, bad professional item.
A nice toy, but nothing more. I've been using three types of IMOU cameras for two years: a) Indoor Ranger, which has proven to be the most accurate and professional: it records everything to the SD card and doesn't disconnect from the network; b) Outdoor Cruiser: it burned three SD cards and kept going offline. It forced me to subscribe to the cloud service. Since then, it's worked well. c) AOV PT: the worst of all: it doesn't record, doesn't detect, and burns SD cards. A disaster. In all cases, it's impossible to identify the subject from their facial features in nighttime footage. For these reasons, my final judgment is that IMOU products are not products to be used for reliable, continuous, precise, and quality monitoring for home security. I repeat, they're beautiful toys. Professional tools are a completely different matter.

Didn't even last two years
I purchased this camera May 11th 2023 and it is now almost 2 years later and this camera is no longer detecting motions. Not even with me opening the door anymore. Someone was at my door the other night trying to get in and I allowed them to try while I called 911 thinking that this camera was catching everything. The camera didn't even detect that there was motion so the entire case was thrown out and we don't know who that guy was that was trying to get inside my house. The siren does not work anymore either. Usually I would be able to hit the siren button (to get rid of whatever was out front) and the alarm would go off scaring the perpetrator away but this time the siren did not work either. The only thing that works at this point is the when I go into the app to open that camera to see what's out front. The verbal back and forth conversation with who's ever outside no longer works either. Nobody can hear me at all. So for $80 this camera should have been doing everything it is supposed to do for more than 2 years or just under 2 years. My indoor cameras are still detecting and doing what they're supposed to and I purchased them the same time I purchased particular one that I have.

Clear picture
Good quality for low price. I bought 3 different models from the same company. One had some trouble reconnecting to the internet so they sent me another fast. I had Nest before however the resolution of these is far better, the field of view is smaller though. Night vision is much better than Nest. Some models will track objects or people which makes up for the field of vision, it actually works quite well. I would like a web application instead of just using a smart-phone to use. The history is difficult to use unless you download the video file to a computer and use a separate editor to manipulate it. Can be wired or wifi, wired is more consistent. I use both Cat5 inside and wifi outside. The cable is rock solid all the time, the wifi sometimes drops off and takes longer to load.

Camera is great but the company puts features behind a pay wall
I have own two of these cameras and one just non-stops restarts itself, it will normally do it if someone wants to view live video. The other problem is ive installed a 128gb microsd card in both cameras and it records to the microsd card but if i want to download any of the videos from my own microsd card i have to pay a monthly sub just to do that, i would tell people the camera is great image, great sound but everything else is behind a paywall that you need to pay in order to do this and that. I Do NOT Recommend This Camera To No One

Quality of image is great.
Night vision is really good. Motion sensing is really good (sometimes a little too sensitive). Connection drops out now and then. This could be from a weak wifi signal. Satisfied so far. I would recommend based on my experience to date.
