We use these in a hands on science project for kids. Each colour is in a small plastic bag, so it makes portioning out automatic. Cleanup is always a chore with mica powder, but the fact that we can cut a small hole in the corner for the kids to pour the powder out of makes it a little less messy. There is not much in each bag, which keeps mess down. The colours are vibrant enough to make the project very colourful, so I can see if you were using these for art, it would work well.

Amazing colors! The shiny on them, and they dissolve amazingly in silicon mix for squishy making, really vibrant squishy colors turn out! Love it! Next time I’ll be ordering the bigger color variety!

Beautiful,vibrant colors included in this set are sure to catch the eye of even the most seasoned artist. A small amount of this goes a long way-so be very careful adding it to your resin for coloring. The colors tend to run more solid than transparent,so that may not be for everyone or every project. The only downside is each color is in its own ziplock baggie and if your not careful,you will have powder blowing out the top of the bag when you go to close them. There is a wonderful assortment of colors to choose from including some obscure colors that I'm guessing you will find nowhere else. Love the way each color captures light and shimmers. Overall very happy with product and recommend it for sure.
