I have fine, thinning, greying hair. I was looking for a root lifter for the top of my scalp. I wasn't happy with my current root lifter and decided to try this. I like the smell which is a very mild, subtle floral scent, very nice. I spray it all along the crown while my hair is wet. I find it to be light and not sticky. I brush it through my hair so it is distributed evenly and then use a blow dryer brush to style my hair. The volume and bounce holds well for 2 to 3 days. I find using a leave in conditioner spray helpful along with this. My hair feels soft and not greasy and I am very pleased with this product. It is a bit pricey however, it works, so it is worth it. If you are looking for that 80's hairspray volume, this won't do that, but I get the same volume I'd get at the salon.
