I tried this product two weeks ago and love it. I live in Florida where it is humid and rains a lot. It took the frizz out of my hair. I needed someone to help apply the treatment to my hair, especially in the back. It did mess up my color a bit but I applied a toner and it corrected the color. I find it easy to dry and style my hair now. It’s smooth and easy to style. The process is lengthy and you should allocate about 1 1/2-2 hrs for the complete treatment, washing, drying and straightening. I washed my hair about 10 minutes after I straightened it because it felt heavy and stuff from the keratin. I would definitely use this product again as it saved me about $150 and a lot of time.

Unfortunately this product was a complete disappointment. The biggest issue was the smell. I expected a strong chemical odor, but this wasn’t that. It was just an awful, lingering smell that clung to everything. Even after washing my hair multiple times with a clarifying shampoo, the odor is still there. It transferred to my pillowcases and towels, and I can’t seem to get rid of it. As for the results, it did not straighten my hair at all. I followed the instructions exactly as directed, taking my time with every step. Instead of smoother, straighter hair, my curl pattern is now just less consistent and more uneven than before. The application process was also frustrating. Once the treatment was in my hair, it was incredibly difficult to get it to dry because of how thick and oily the product is. Sectioning my hair for the flat ironing step was even harder because the product made everything so knotted and difficult to work with. Overall, this treatment left me with hair that smells terrible, didn’t deliver the promised straightening results, and took hours of work for nothing. I wish I had saved my money and skipped this product altogether. If you’re considering buying this, I’d strongly recommend looking for another option before risking your time, your money, and your hair.

This stuff is great for the price. But I have a warning. It’s not meant to frighten anyone. *TRIGGER WARNING* As long as the straight is still straightening. Then the smell is smelling . If you no longer smell…*the smell*… It means you’ve become nose blind to it. What is the smell, you ask? Well… when you first apply it, it’s not that bad. Actually, quite pleasant. You go through the directions…everything is fine. Then when you’re all finished, and you lay on your pillow, you’ll get a whiff of what I can only describe as: The rotting flesh of a skinned, wet dog. So it’s up to you. Do you want a beautifully manageable mane that takes five minutes to style and lasts almost two months? With the trade off of smelling like the rotting flesh of a skinned wet dog? No? Then turn around and leave. Don’t buy this. Forget it exists. Forget you read this review. Go back to what your life was like before you even started to consider buying this product. Because it isn’t for you. Personally… I chose to smell like the rotting flesh of a skinned, wet dog. Am I proud of it? No, not really. Did I ever get used to smelling so bad that I physically gagged anytime I turned my head and got hit by the odor? Nope! But who cares. Because my hair looked great. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I have limited photos of my natural texture, but I hope you get the idea. It’s curly and brushes out to a poof. I got a haircut few weeks prior to doing the treatment. First two photos are weeks before treatment. Third photo is wet hair-post treatment/shampoo. Last photo is post blow dry. Blow drying post treatment takes five minutes. Very satisfied with the slight toning effect. Hair may appear purple during application and first blow dry, but does neutralize.
