Got this for my Vevor transit level. It's light to carry, easy to level, easy to mount the level on, and seemed plenty stable. It has a handy strap to wrap around at the bottom of the legs and a nice carrying strap.

Good tripod, but too light weight from my use. Mounted a 25ft whip antenna on it. Returned and replaced it with a heavy duty tripod from the same company. New one works great.

In need of a good, sturdy tripod for my new grab and go telescope assembly, I searched high and low, quickly discouraged by the overpriced “telescope” branded variations, I set my sights on a surveying tripod and couldn’t be happier. This unit is a good quality for the money. I would have rated it a five if it were made of a little thicker material for the legs.
