Works as good as the $1,500 ones

Our manufacturing plant uses these for banding and it works great. We have purchased many of these.

We use it daily at our shop. Old one broke and the prices are way to high. This seems to be almost the exact same for a fraction of the price. We will see if it holds up but so far so good

Product is a fraction of the cost from our strapping suppliers, works equally well. Never had an issue with the item except the cutter is getting worn on the first one after a year's use and I want to buy a replacement but cannot find a number to call or email to buy the parts! If someone reading this can get me contact information, I would like to order the cutter.....LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!

Works well

This is a good buy for the price. Have been using it for a week mostly everyday and is working perfectly. Its made with strong materials and its very likely to last a long time. The punching is smooth and never fails. The mechanism is simple and Its way easier to use than those for plastic strap.

Right out of the box it did not crimp. We tried the adjustment specified in the manual with no luck. The upper and lower dies punch the straps but they do not stick together and they get stuck on the upper die and must be pried off with a flat screwdriver. I had high hopes because of other positive reviews but unfortunately I got a dud. I tried to return it for a replacement but I was a day late for Amazon returns. My fault. I shouldn't have kept messing with it and just sent it back immediately.

Straight out of the box it's great for the 5/8" banding we had. But we mostly use 1/2" and while TECHNICALLY it works for the 1/2", it's a bit of a PITA. Before adjusting, it would cut through both layers of banding, undoing the work we just put in. After adjusting it to its highest setting, it does work, but the end that stays gets stuck in the teeth and needs to be pried out using a long flathead screwdriver as a toothpick to free the banding from teeth of the crimper. Adjusting it down one tooth doesn't give the seal enough strength to hold together. Also with 1/2", the crimp is not centered, so that's another weak point and you have to have the banding off of the guide a bit to get a strong enough bite. TL:DR it claims to work for 1/2", but kinda does, kinda doesn't.
