I got this for my baby when they started crawling and taking their first steps, and it's been a nice extra layer of protection. It doesn't stop every bump, but it definitely gives me a little more peace of mind during those wobbly stages. The helmet is soft, lightweight, and easy to adjust, so my baby didn't seem to mind wearing it. I also like that the material is breathable, so it doesn't get too hot during playtime. The blue color is really cute, and it seems well made for the price. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. If you're looking for something to help cushion the occasional bumps while your little one is learning to move around, this is a good option.

Our Green SafeheadBABY Soft Baby Head Protector Helmet is for a 7-month old who is speed crawling, pulling himself to stand up & squatting to reach his toys. He can’t yet sit up independently (he’s wobbly), or walk. We needed to minimize risk of injury as he takes on his world. This helmet provided instant peace of mind. We’ve had the helmet a week and he wears it whenever he’s mobile and playing on the ground. He resisted when we placed the helmet on his head, at first, but it was literally minutes before he didn’t mind wearing it and went in with his day. When he tips over, even more a week later, he is momentarily startled and maybe upset but he just looks around and realizes he’s not hurt then resumes playing, exploring, learning. Also, we (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles) don’t panic when he tumbles over so the baby quickly realizes he’s ok. We are also preparing for the next stages (walking) with more confidence. This helmet should go the distance for us. It is lightweight & durable yet soft to the touch, and comfortable. It has a Velcro strap that stays put and doesn’t pinch. He wears his helmet a lot and no longer resists when we put it on. It does not diminish his mobility. Plus it’s very cute. He got him helmets for grandparents homes. I recommend this helmet — don’t wait until s/he takes a scary tumble.

This soft shell baby helmet gave me so much peace of mind. My 6-month-old was very active and started “couch surfing” early, constantly pulling up and exploring, which meant plenty of little bumps along the way. This helmet allowed me to relax a little knowing his head had some extra protection while he learned and practiced new skills. It’s soft, lightweight, and comfortable enough that he didn’t mind wearing it. It’s been a great addition during this busy stage of learning and exploring.

Love this helmet! Has saved my newly walking 10mo old with a 90 percentile head from many injuries. However, the helmet stops coverage right at the hair line, leaving his forehead exposed which he bumps often.

Absolutely love this. My son is very adventurous now that he’s crawling. This has saved him for smacking his face on the floor, hitting his temple on the side of chairs or cabinets, saving his fall when he’s trying to stand and falls backwards. This is the best for any new crawling baby that’s also trying to walk.

Fits nicely and is perfect for our sitter/crawler. It’s protected his head more than a few times now as he is beginning to pull himself up to stand. Nice product. I purchased 2 one for home and 1 for the car for in law visits. Highly recommend.

I originally ordered these safety helmets for my twin boys but ended up returning them because I found myself not using them at first. After one of my babies took a fall, I quickly reordered them—and I am soooo thankful I did. These have saved them so many times since. If you have energetic, adventurous kiddos who are just starting out walking, this is such a great investment. They provide peace of mind without getting in the way of movement or play. My boys don’t seem bothered by them at all, and I feel much more relaxed knowing they have that extra protection. Honestly, don’t even think twice. This is one of those products you don’t realize you truly need until you do—and I’m so glad I reordered it.

My 14 months boy is really getting active and always hit his head. I was looking for a good helmet and found this product. At start, the boy tried to remove it but couldn’t then he used to it. Highly recommended!!

Fits great and it acts more like a rugby cap, so it gives protection but allows for my baby to play around.

If you want a soft helmet, then this is good. if you want a hard helmet then look somewhere else It’s a ok quality helmet for kids and the size is also proper but it’s spongy, BUT it is not hard shell. it won’t do much protection if the kid falls and hits his head to something or falls on the ground. We were looking for something harder.
