I have tried a fair few solar pumps before and thought as the price was so cheap I wasn't going to lose much by giving this a try. Worked perfectly in a garden water feature, the suction cups keeping the pump in place are very strong. There is a variety of fountain attachments to try. The lead from the pump to the solar panel is long enough to go from the water feature and then be attached to the top of a 6ft fence to capture more of the sun. Obviously if the sun isn't hitting the panel then the pump won't work as there isn't a battery back up. But for the price I thought it was better than I was expecting. Ideal for a small water feature or bird bath.

Good little fountain if your garden is south facing or there’s a point in your garden that gets constant direct sunlight, however if not in direct sun the pump is intermittent spurts instead of a constant stream. When in constant stream it is a lovely size and height for a small fountain or bird bath and makes a lovely noise of water without being about to hear a pump humming. Several options for the spray type. Instructions don’t make much sense but with a bit of problem solving you’re able to build it yourself without an issue. Cheap answer to a nice garden ornament.

An amazing buy! Such good value for money, I was slightly sceptical about it working, with it being a 1.5W Solar, but as I have a south facing garden, decided to give it a go. I wanted it for my bird bath, as I'm having to constantly scrub it clean due to Algae build up. It arrived well packaged, and I set it up straight away. It was overcast, but it worked wonderfully straight away, and did so for the remainder of the day, very pleased with it. Definitely recommend it for small bird baths/garden water feature ornaments.

Stopped working exactly 1 month and 2 days after purchase. Waste of money and would have got zero stars if that was an option.

Just spent an hr trying to get it to do something. Full sun and it would do a thing. Just kept trying all the different nozzles. Eventually gave up and just put it in without any. Not impressed. (Thats my opinion others might have had more luck but in full sun I couldn't get it to work)

Absolutely thrilled with these water fountain pumps… during the 7 minutes of British summer we get each year. Let’s start with the positives: they look the business. Proper garden show-off material. You’ll feel like you should be hosting afternoon tea and charging people entry just to admire your bubbling masterpiece. Performance-wise? Flawless… provided that big glowing thing in the sky (I believe it’s called “the sun,” rare sighting in the UK) decides to make an appearance. No sun, no pump. Not even a polite gurgle. Just sits there like it’s on strike. And here’s my favourite feature—there’s no on/off switch. Oh no, that would be far too convenient. Instead, if you want to turn it off, you have to physically flip the solar panel upside down like you’re putting it in time-out. Nothing says “cutting-edge technology” like wrestling a tiny panel into submission. So essentially, I now check the weather forecast not for my plans, but for my fountain’s social calendar. “Oh, partly cloudy? Sorry lads, the fountain’s cancelled again.” All that said… when the sun does come out, they’re genuinely brilliant. Little jets of water doing their thing, making me feel like I’ve got my life together. Final verdict: fantastic if you live somewhere sunny. If you’re in the UK, it’s less a water feature and more a very optimistic ornament.

La bomba es pequeñita pero hecha un montón de agua. Eso sí con luz de sol directa.
