Excellent everyday knife!
This knife feels every bit a quality product. A joy to use and hold. The tip is a bit stiletto, so it needs to be treated with respect.

Fantastic Tool
Some of the negative reviews on this knife are hilarious. -"Tried using the knife as a shovel and it broke because it's a knife and not a shovel." -"Thin long pointed profile of the blade made it break when I tried using it like a screwdriver." If you're the kind of person that likes using the proper tool for the job, this knife is incredible. It is a thin no BS efficient cutting tool that'll make short work of pretty much any job you SHOULD use a folding knife for. It's not flashy, it's doesn't have many special features, and it has a very slim design. Perfect combination for a pocket knife, in my opinion. The blade itself is thin and has nearly no curvature to the cutting edge at all, making it easy as hell to sharpen and effective at cutting. A straight blade means no wasted energy when puncturing deer hides, shaving wood, or slashing right through thick rope. Steel seems good, too. When it comes to stainless, 14C28N is about as good as it gets without emptying your wallet. Plus, with a blade this easy to re-hone, it's nearly a non-issue if it dulls just slightly faster than something 3X the price. This is a knife for people who know how to use knives. It is not a shovel. It is not a screwdriver. It is not a weapon. It is a tool, and a damn good one at that.

Ramblings of a leek loving/losing fool
This is my 3rd leek knife. It is a perfect carry knife. I use it daily. They are work horses and take abuse well. Sadly, I recently misplaced my beloved demascus version. I’ve had that one for a few years. I work retail and often cut cardboard, zip ties, tape, etc. that blade held an edge so well! I hope to find that knife. Since I use it so regularly I had to get another leek! The shape is perfect for the zip-tied boxes I often open. It’s much more efficient and safer than the box cutters that are provided (at least for those hard to get to tiptoes). So far I’ve had this carbon fiber one for about a week. The swift snap of the blade is very satisfying on this knife. The lighter weight provided from the carbon seems to exaggerate the the intensity of the flip. It’s quite nice and the most satisfying to open of the 3 that I’ve had (the other 2 are awesome but not as good on the open as this one). I have a plane steel one. I misplaced it and got the demascus! Found it again and I’ve had it for a few years and now misplacing the demascus I have this one as my daily. Yeah. I’m scattered. So far I’m very happy with the carbon handle. It’s noticeably lighter. The texture of the carbon handle also adds a tad bit more of a grip to it than the other 2 that I have (man I to find my other) Either way, I’m happy to have had the excuse to get this version. It’s quickly becoming my favorite. The steel for this blade seems to be the best quality of steel that I’ve had from the 3. It seems to have a good solid working edge on it. I’m not sure the factory degrees but I’m guessing it’s around 20° to a 25° from factory. It’s quite sharp. It’s not exactly a scalpel out of the box but it’s darn close! I know with the right edge on it, it would be a light saber. Once the factory edge dulls I’ll see what kind of edge I can get away with. -Also while keeping up with the abuse of cardboard and zip ties. We will see! The Demascus held an edge for about 3 months of constant abuse. I’m confident the edge on the cpm154 will last even longer. Thanks for reading my ramblings of losing this perfect pocket knife. PS This carbon handle has an inner metal holder to lock the blade into place. It’s not a true inner locking frame like the handle on the Demascus version. I don’t think carbon would bend into place and back like that.
