I’ve been searching for something that would soothe and be safe for my toddlers eczema. I purchased this cleansing oil along with the Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume lotion. So far, I’m obsessed with both! The cleansing oil smells divine!!!! And his skin felt noticeably softer throughout his entire body, after the first use. Next, the lotion felt rich and spread so nicely. Top notch combination. I love this so much, I will be using it on myself as well. Love that this can be used by anyone in the family, so that we don’t have to constantly purchase different individual products. Note: since it is a cleansing oil it doesn’t lather exactly like a soap. I use 3 pumps on his small loofah, and that gives a nice milky lather. But not with exaggerated bubbles/suds.

I have sensitive skin and love this not harsh on skin makes skin feel smooth after I use and don’t have to user so much lotion after showering. It’s lightweight and very effective . Lasts a long time . Easy to use . I just came back from Europe and this product is everywhere in all the pharmacies. It also smells nice and has some suds .

I do a lot of sweating and some manual labor regularly, so I typically do a double cleanse in the shower. I use this one after the first cleanse, and it does well for keeping my skin soft. The scent is mild. It almost smells like a generic soap but it is not unpleasant. I use fragrant moisturizers after showers anyway so it doesn't matter to me. And the scent from this doesn't really stay. It does lather quite well, I would suggest using a softer material to wash your body with this if you scrub beforehand. If you only use this product (which I have tried on days I don't do much), it still cleans well. If you have sensitive skin, then this may work for you. However, if you react to fragrances, just be aware that the very last ingredient is indeed fragrance.

This is better than expected. Skin softness is just enough not too oily and not dry at all. It helps to simply add it to your loofah. Very allergy/skin friendly as it contains no scents or dyes. I opted for the SMALL bottle to see if it was going to be effective, it is, so now I’m definitely buying the larger bottle. The only con I found is the oily residue left in the shower. Clean it right after to avoid any slips or falls.

We love L'occitaine's Shower Oil but needed a more affordable substitute. After scouring the Internet, including Reddit, I found Bioderma Atoderm and it's great! It feels less like a viscous oil than L'occitaine but moisturizes and cleanses to our satisfaction. I use it as a body wash (no more guilt since this bottle is both bigger and cheaper than L'occitaine) and my partner uses it to shave his head. The scent isn't overpowering and it rinses clean and doesn't make our shower or tub feel too slippery. This is the second bottle we've purchased but honestly, the first bottle is still not done after many months of daily use so you can expect each bottle to last a long time.

My daughter has suffered from eczema and psoriasis most of her life. This is probably the most effective product. I have bought her. Her skin is now smooth. She has been using it for a month and her itchiness has lowered immensely. It smells good and although it doesn’t have any foam since it is an oil, it lathers perfect perfectly on her skin. I 100% recommend.

It’s for anyone who needs a more moisturising cleanse without that tight, stripped feeling afterwards. Pros - It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated rather than dry or squeaky clean. - The formula is gentle and seems well suited to sensitive or easily irritated skin. - The 1 litre bottle lasts a long time, so it makes sense if you use it every day. Cons - It does not lather much, so if you prefer a foamy wash this may feel a bit different. - It is pricier than basic shower gels. - It has fragrance, so it may not suit people who need a fragrance-free product. Overall, this is a very good shower oil if your skin is dry, sensitive, or just needs a bit more care in the shower. I grabbed it to make daily washing less harsh, and it does that well. I would recommend it, especially if you care more about comfort and hydration than lots of foam.
