My cat isn’t typically picky- we found him as a kitten in a Disneyland parking lot, so he’s kind of a laid back, carefree guy who will eat almost anything (he loves turkey legs and churros, but that’s not sustainable). The problem is, nothing excited him, food-wise. He always seemed to be intensely bored with both his kibble and his wet food lol. The only thing that ever interested him was when we opened of a can of tuna, and we know that’s not good for him. Getting home from In n Out the other day, I watched as my cat strolled over to his bowl, maintaining eye contact with me the entire time (maybe glancing at the bag in my hand for emphasis), and the look on his face very clearly said, “In n Out? Seriously? But for me this kibble stuff AGAIN? What. Ever.” So I decided to look for something that would give him some food joy, and $10 was definitely not too much to spend in my quest. SHOCKING results. Like you know when you order something weird on Amazon and you can imagine both the best and the worst possible outcomes? This was the best possible- plus a rainbow and a unicorn. My cat LOVES this food. He is sitting outside of my bedroom door right now staring at me, something he hasn’t done a lot since he was young (don’t miss it that much tbh), waiting for his breakfast. He also follows me to the kitchen, tries to redirect me if I get distracted, and puts both paws up on the cupboard door and talks to me when he knows I’m rehydrating the chicken. I obviously can’t be certain, but I think what he’s saying is, “It’s about time! Real food! thank you thank you thank you! I love you so much!” Is this magic? Totally worth $10! We put a few in water and let them sit for a minute, then use a fork to break them up to a consistency that looks a lot like cooked ground turkey. If there’s extra water, my cat thinks it’s gravy, and he laps that up, which is also good for hydration. No smell! I believe some people felt the price was too high, but we only use 3 or 4 of the nuggets for our huge beast of a cat. Once re-hydrated, we mix it with his kibble to help slow down his eating (because he was totally scarfing this stuff at first). The $10 bag has lasted a week, and there’s plenty left. This is one of those purchases I felt obligated to write a review for, because the world is a really stupid place, and we all need to stick together and share the genuinely good (not being paid to say that, I have no stake in this), just really good, stuff :) :)

I love this product for my ferrets. This was one of the food items that was listed high quality on Holistic Ferret Forum. Its a great recipe for cats, but ferrets also can like it and eat it as well. does not reek and healthy ingredients. I will purchase this again!

My cat is so picky at 15 years old and this is one of the few treats The vet allows. She lives for these streets. They are stinky, but she loves them and they’re healthier for her.

Cat liked however I didn’t for the price and freeze dried chicken over at Walmart for a quarter of their price. Thinking about signing up for Walmart melatonin from 1999 on here $44 a bottle I don’t even know what the increase on that

The product is good quality and my cats love it. The product often comes partially crushed by something that amazon packs with the shipment or possibly the product is crushed in the warehouse. Either way it often ends up with a half a bag of dust.

I got this instead of canned cat food since it was all chicken. I gave my male 1 yr old cat the recommended amount which was 1/4 c & also the water you add to make it wet food. He didn’t seem to like it & I tried mixing it in with his dry food which he didn’t eat either. I thought I wasted my money & wondered why he didn’t eat it. I decided to try again with only 3 pieces & put it in a separate dish. I’m glad I tried again because he did eat it & liked it. I gave him again the next morning & he ate gladly. It doesn't have any weird odor; just smells like chicken. I used 3 pieces every day until it was gone & he actually looked forward to it. It seems like a reasonable price since it’s freeze dried & all chicken & shelf stable. I’ll buy it again.

I have a very finicky young cat who refused to eat any wet food- she was getting to heavy for a young cat - someone told me to try Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Cat Dinner morsels and surprisingly she is now eating wet food!!! I just added a tablespoon of water and mixed the dry morsels- she seems to love the taste! It's a but expensive and I wish they had larger bags but at least I can get her off the dry food now.

This yummy product has been very helpful toy cat's diet since 2022, BUT this is not what is shipped. The freeze dried morsels use to be one inch, cork shaped, and are now miniature one quarter inch squares. To owners who need consistent volume...beware. I'm guessing it's a seven to one ratio now. 😑

i've bought 2 bags of this food so far and i will be buying another one. this is by far my cats favorite food and sometimes i crumble it on other foods to entice him to eat it. he goes absolutely feral for it!

The delivery was fast and packet well. Also, the packaging of the products with respect to freshness was really amazing as most of the products imported from other companies has a short expiration date but its not with this product. A bit on expensive side and i will surely buy again in future if seller provides an exclusive discount or any rebate which will again be appreciated.

This is amazing food, EXPENSIVE but so worth it for me at least and i really trickle it so as for it to last ! Thank you Stella and Chewy for making my precious angels happy with your amazing food!
