I recently purchased the 6851x Replacement Heavy Duty Driveshaft Assembly for my Traxxas Slash 4X4, and my experience with it has been a bit mixed so far. Delivery: The product arrived quickly, which was great. I always appreciate fast shipping, especially when I'm excited to try out a new upgrade for my RC cars. Build and Installation: However, I noticed that the build of the driveshaft assembly is a bit different from what I expected. It seems like the whole assembly is kind of backward compared to the original part, which means you have to replace the entire arm instead of just swapping out the driveshaft. This makes the installation process more complicated and time-consuming than I anticipated. Usage: I haven't had the chance to test it out yet, so I can't speak to its performance on the track. I'm hoping that despite the unusual setup, it will hold up well and provide the durability and performance boost I'm looking for. Overall, I have some reservations about the design, but I'm optimistic about its potential once I get it installed and running. I'll update my review once I've had a chance to see how it performs during use. If you're considering this replacement part, just be prepared for a more involved installation process.

pretty good replacement
Pretty decent product seems to be a little bit stronger than the stock ones

NOT OEM.
First off they’re not oem. I typed in part number for the front heavy duty plastic shafts and they popped up with the same part number. Installation was straightforward as with any shaft and fit like oem. Durability is worse than the small traxxas shafts. Performance might be fine on a brushed motor and possibly running brushless on a 2s lipo but 3s is out of the question. Overall they are brittle plastic driveshafts that I would not recommend on a high powered stampede.
