These are phenomenal sights. I used to have the magpul back up sights on my ArmaLite, in case my EOTech ever went down. I love magpul and they were good sights. But in my own opinion this option is a far better one and I will tell you why. 1. I think having canted sights are a far better option over pop ups. Because, if your primary optic goes down, it could do so in a way where you cannot see your iron sights through the optic. For example if your glass breaks you may not be able to see clearly through the broken optic. Requiring you to remove it and if you need to do so quickly, you are in trouble. For a scope with magnification, canted sights are a no brainer. Have the range of the scope and be able to quickly sight closer targets with the canted sights. 2. These sights are very solidly made. They are all metal unlike my magpul pop ups. And surprisingly they don’t weigh very much more at all. But you can tell these sights are built well and can definitely take a beating and hold their zero. In fact these are probably some of the best iron sights I have seen. The craftsmanship is fantastic. 3. These sights are actually pop up too! So when you are not using them they are not in the way or ready to get stuck on something, whether in your gun box or moving through terrain. And when not in use they just fold up nicely against the frame of the firearm. 4. The rear sight actually comes with two sight pictures. That is a nice addition to have on a back up. So you basically have the day/night sight picture like on any stock AR. But usually, you don’t get this option with backups. They are more there for those just-in-case scenarios and therefore are usually just-enough. But not these Dagger Defense sights, the dual sight picture is a nice addition and now makes my backup sights very versatile. To conclude, I highly recommend these sights for their crafstsmanship, ease of use, versatility and most importantly reliability.

Cut to the chase, I can't believe you can buy these for the price I did (under 40 bucks). These 45 degree flip up sights are very well machined and plenty robust. I mounted them. Went to the range sighted them in and fired 150 rounds. About every ten rounds I flipped them down, then flipped them up to see if anything changed. Nope. The zero stayed right were I originally put it, never moved. I'm an 80's Marine and cut my teeth on an M16A1 with iron sights. The sight picture from these sights were just great on a 16 inch barrel with full length rail. My 57 year old eyes do struggle with some peep sights but not at all with these. Once again, these are an exceptional value based on one range day. For the price, don't hesitate. I'm ordering more.

These are a decent pair of canted irons, especially for the price. The fit and finish is ok, and they are reasonably sturdy and accurate at 100 yds. They are on the heavier side, and I don't know how much abuse they could take before the springs give out.

I mounted these iron sights on my AR-15 yesterday so that I can add a magnified scope. I like them. They feel sturdy- there's no play laterally. The release button is stiff (but just enough) and the sights flip up with a very snappy response. Snappy looking too. Of course there is a little springy play back and forth but they can't flip back down more than 20 degrees or so until you hold the button again. They mounted tightly onto my picatinny rail. Quality feel all around. The rear sight adjustment knob seems to have a small hole in the side for a screw to lock it into place after sighting it in, which I haven't done yet. It also has a wide rear sight for close range and it pivots 90 degrees to a smaller hole for further range shots. When folded down, they have a fairly low profile. If it sounds like I'm trying to sell it to you, it's because I am. I did a lot of looking and review reading (it's half the fun) before I bought these and so far I am very satisfied. Let’s start off with Dagger Defense. These guys (or gals) are awesome! They care so much that I received multiple emails from them about my order before I even got it. As for the sights. They are built really well. They are a bit sticky right out of the box but that is to be expected. If they were drowned in oil, they would be hard to handle and install. Installation literally took a minute and half. They look great as well. I have not shot with them yet but lined them up with a boresight and they adjusted easily. This is yet another Dagger Defense product that I've had the pleasure to buy and use... These little babies are Great! Not only do they fit perfectly but the hold tight and secure... After getting a good Zero on them I was ringing steel at 300 meters with no problem. Two surprising things have come up with these sights... 1) They are all metal 2) The price... The quality of these are amazing... They work perfectly as back up sights with my Dagger Defense DD30M3 Red/Green Dot sight... These sights have made my Budget AR build an accurate steel ringing machine...

I really like this and it works great on my rifle. I looked at a lot of competing sights and this one was by far the best for the money. Very crisp action.

I bought these sights to back up my optic mounted on my match rifle. First let me say that the mounts were flawless. They both mounted right where I needed them with ease. The release buttons work great and both sights present themsleves perfect when the buttons are pressed. The negative side of these sights are that the front sight is difficult to adjust the pin for elevation as I broke my adjustment tool as i was adjusting them. The rear sight windage adjustment knob is held on by allen screws and the knob is tweaked making it difficult to turn. After some repair and some locktite I am shooting quarter sized groups at 50 yds. Good sights for the price. Fast shipping!
