I had to do a bit of research first to figure out the process on this tea and it was well worth it. From my readings it is best used when sick or lubrication of the throat is necessary for singing etc. I used two nuts and let them soak for 8 minutes before drinking. They really opened up and had a very unique look. I didn't remove them from the cup and the water turned a lovely brown, I was afraid that I'd need to strain the tea but there was no residue generated from the soaking nuts. I used 190F (90c) water and the flavor was moderate and smooth. I did not add any sweetner and really enjoyed my cup.

I bought 3 container, spending almost $80! 2/3 of the containers had molded nuts, with a no return policy. Feel pretty scammed about that.

Not worth buying
The nuts are tiny and the flavor is very light no mater how many I put in

Odd, but they work!
I got these for my husband because he's a singer, but also has sinus and congestion issues. It was a bit of a pain to prepare these, and they're kind of pricey. He said it had an odd flavor, but not intolerable. After a while, he was actually able to sing a little better!
