This was my first time purchasing from Banyan and also my first time purchasing sesame oil. I've enjoyed using this product for Abhyana. It has a subtle sesame smell, which is quite nice... not at all like the pungent smell of sesame oil used for cooking. Additionally, once the oil is applied, I personally can't notice the sesame smell. It makes a great carrier oil if you'd like to add any more fragrant essential oils. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really wish it came with a pump top. I could buy one separately, I suppose. It's just a bit messy to pour in to your hand. But I love the quality and will buy from Banyan again!

Wonderful organic sesame oil
Banyan Botanicals is my go-to company for these oils. Organic and unrefined, yay! Go to their website to get a full blog on how Ayurvedic practices help you. The sesame oil can be rubbed into the soles of the feet before bed to help with sleep. I wish they included a pump cap option. I don't trust my coordination when opening a big bottle of oil, so I found my own pump cap and it fits just fine. Now it is so much easier to apply. The scent is subtle, the texture is lovely. My skin just drinks it up. It's a great value!
