As a woman with sensitive skin most traditional sponges always leave my hands red and irritated after doing the dishes..and wearing gloves is uncomfortable and inconvenient. I used to think it was my soap but i switched to a clean and clear dish soap and my hands still got irritated after every wash. Then i found out that it was not due to the soap but actually the sponge!! Apparently traditional sponges contain toxic materials and theres a lot of bacteria that grows and stays in them. So I did some digging and found this organic luffa dish sponge and ofcourse ordered it right away. It was really small when it arrived in its pack of 3 so I felt a little skeptical as to how this was going to help me wash anything but actually ones you wet it, it expands a lot. It was firm the first day or so and it took a few washes to break it in, but now its the perfect size and firmness for washing anything. And I have yet to feel any irritation after doing the dishes, so it really has been my sponges this whole time!! Im sort of obsessing over this because I feel like I solved a life long mystery for myself. Also I kinda wanna try this in the shower...

Trash. These are so stiff, no matter how much water I used and didn't hold any dish soap. Very difficult to wash dishes with these. Threw them away. Complete waste.

These are just ok. They’re hard to maneuver in circular glasses/dishware. They clean ok enough. Don’t seem to hold soap long. They don’t grab onto smells too easily so that’s nice and they’re eco-friendly as they’re just loofa. But they’re just ok. Better than plastic.

These Truly Free natural sponges are a staple in my kitchen now. They’re effective, gentle, and made with clean, natural materials which is really important to me. They rinse out easily and don’t hold odors like traditional sponges. Simple, sustainable, and worth it.
