Does it will leave lint, or scratch the car paint or any finishes?

Real chamois leather does not damage cars' paint or leave lint or scratches if properly cleaned and shaken while in use. Additionally, it does not harm any finishes.
This product is real natural chamois leather. If you intend to touch the paintwork, be sure you are not wearing any jewelry. 
Make sure there is no grit or sand then you shouldn’t have any problems. I have never experienced any problems when I follow the basic rules listed above.

Does this chamois leather smelly? Is it a regular-shaped product?

Adding deep-sea fish oil is an indispensable process in the chamois leather production process, which can make the chamois leather softer and more resilient, so the product itself has a fishy taste. As a result, we added a deodorant process to remove the fishy smell and to give it a light fragrance. Natural suede cloth is an irregular-shaped product. Vibration knife leather cutting technology has been used to cut this item into the regular-shaped size of 40*60cm. And this product was tested qualified by an experienced laboratory that possesses extensive experience in testing and certifying to Chamois Standard CS99-1970.

I ordered two of these and one of them is at least three times thicker than the other one. is that normal? are they both authentic? how can i tell?
