The super pretzels never come with enough salt for my tastes - This is great becaust it is actual pretzel salt - regular coarse salt does not work because it's too crunchy - And this is just as it should be! I am from philly so I know my pretzels and the type of salt!

A bag of good pretzel salt at a "reasonable" price.
It's salt, so there's not much to say about that. I have no idea why "pretzel" salt costs so much compared to table salt or "kosher" salt - I suspect it's mostly packaging in small quantities and/or fancy packages. I don't make enough pretzels to buy a 25lb or 50lb bag, so I have to pay crazy prices for fancy packages? This is simply a plastic bag of salt, perfect for my occasional pretzel baking at home. Thanks for a sensible offering!

Packaging description needs a tweak.
I doubt it's different from most available pretzel salts. It IS inexpensive compared to many and I came very close to ordering a 2 lb tub from another supplier that happened to have the same per pound price. But I got this one for two reasons a) I doubt I would actually use a whole 2 lb. quickly, And b) being a thick resealable pouch (as per picture and written description) would make it easier to keep air out of it. Unfortunately it arrived in a plain ol' plastic bag. Not a deal killer but will now have to find a suitable container, hence the loss of a star.

Great for Bavarian Pretzels!
I love pretzels, but don't like a lot of salt on them.. just a little. This is some good salt and really adds to the Bavarian pretzels I make at home. I will buy this again.. no doubt. It's also priced very well which helps.

Perfect finish.
This pretzel salt is great on my homemade soft pretzels. It is definitely the finishing touch for these yummy snacks. I coat them with the salt and bake and when they are warm from the oven they are better than chips.
