I’m very pleased with the doorcam and pleasantly surprised I managed to set it up fairly easily as I’m not that great with technology I followed the instructions for set up. Took my time and Managed to find my way around the device settings on my phone etc. and it works perfectly well. I like that it comes with a doorchime for inside the house ( with batteries supplied) and it’s not just the chime connected to the door cam itself - so no missing hearing it It didn’t take long to charge up the doorcam and I took note of other reviews that said be careful with the little security screw when fitting Good quality pics/video so I’m v happy with it Admittedly it’s only been up a few days but all good so far

I bought this door bell to replace an old one , its mine field knowing which is the best to buy . I am more than happy with this doorbell it was so easy to set up via the app . I was worried that I wouldn't beable to mount on the wall at the side of my door . The mount isn't the same size but I managed to mount it with just 1 screw it works so well and the chime is easy to pair to the doorbell . So if you are looking for a really good quality doorbell at a really great price then don't hesitate to buy it . Just charge the doorbell up follow the instructions & pair the indoor chime to it and it's ready to go !!!!

After an attempted burglary in which my old video doorbell was damaged, it was sadly time to replace it. This doorbell looks very similar to my old one but with different branding. I guess they are possibly manufactured in the same factory. Nether the less, they are pretty good quality, and robust enough to take whatever UK weather throws at it. It utilises the same cloud edge software as my old doorbell, I had a few teething troubles. The use of an aftermarket app can sometimes make it a little trickier to set up, and so It took me a good couple of attempts to get it connected to my WIFI network. But, once sorted the app functionality is not overly complicated, and is pretty straightforward to use. In the box, there is a USB charging cable, wall mounting kit, and a dual-powered chime running off 3 AA batteries included, or you have the option to use a usb cable, (not included) The chime paired straight away with no difficulty. The picture quality is generally excellent in all lighting conditions with a resolution up to 2k and supports night vision with motion detection. Sending instant alert notifications via the app which is customisable for daytime and nighttime. However, you will need SD card or subscribe to the cloud. I decided to purchase an SD card. The intercom with two-way audio is also clear allowing you to communicate easily and connect quickly. As I have disabilities, this takes the stress from answering the door. I do like the motion detection which has worked flawlessly, for those times when people annoyingly don't ring the doorbell, I get an instant notification and can then speak to them. According to the instructions this is a battery-powered only wireless doorbell, and cannot be hard-wired, so please bear this in mind before purchasing. As for battery life, it should be fine for a couple of months before it needs charging, obviously, this will depend on usage and the alert levels you set. The access point for charging is conveniently placed on the side of the camera so no need to have to remove the doorbell from its bracket to recharge. Overall, I’m happy it offers good value for money and functionality. I’d give this a sold 4 out of 5.

Bought this to replace my Ring doorbell, glad I did as XTU J7 video doorbell is miles better with very clear footage and get alerts as they happen, I have the 6 second basic package (which is free) the paid alert packages are cheap but I find the basic just fine . The CloudEdge app is easy to use and has all the functions I need, easy to navigate. the doorbell was easy to set up even if you do it manually. You can view the footage on SD card and is very clear, the night vision is excellent as well. I have my doorbell attached to the XTU solar charger and all works very well and keeps it charged (used the same solar charger for the Ring doorbell and never had to re-charge manually even through the winter months) this has been running for past 3 months and has kept the doorbell fully charged. The chime is easy to set up and uses batteries, works every time, personally I like not having to use a plug socket so am happy to use batteries, would recommend the doorbell and solar charger

Ordered the XTU J7 video doorbell this weekend and got it next day with Prime. Nice sleek unit that isn't too bulky (something I particularly wanted) with an excellent instruction manual written in good English. The battery came half charged and took around 3 hours to get it to full (probably less as I wasn't watching it). Video quality is excellent with automatic change-over to monochrome in low light but even then this is really low light before you lose the colour video. Audio is also good in both directions with a small delay but I think it's more than acceptable. Notification to the app is also pretty fast, maybe a couple of seconds or so. Setup through the app is straightforward and pretty painless, just scanning the QR code on the back of the doorbell and waiting for it to connect to your WiFi network (2.4GHz). Easy to share access to the doorbell with the other members of my family so we all get alerts on our phones. Registering for the extended warranty was a breeze by just scanning the QR code in the manual. I was extremely surprised to get a really nice email from XTU Support just a few hours later confirming the warranty extension and offering me a free add-on to say Thank You! Really great service so far. UPDATE: Had the doorbell for a little over two and a half months now and have had to charge it just once. This despite it being quite cold and with regular detections throughout the day and night. I turned off detection during parts of the day when I know someone is in the house as it does detect people moving on the other side of the street too. It's great that the internal chime can be powered by USB so I don't need to worry about batteries. The free storage is fine even with the basic 6-10 seconds. It can sometimes only grab the back of someone as they leave but that's really only for people who are leaving from inside the house. All-in-all, very happy with this product and far, far cheaper than something like a Ring.

After initially reviewing to say it was still working after a year, it stopped. Saw there was a price reduction so took a chance on a replacement. Complete rubbish. Easy to set up and no subscription, but that’s it. It’s so slow to start recording it misses most people at the door or passing by. Perhaps the back of a disappearing head if I’m lucky. Also wanted to use it as I did my previous model, to watch the foxes. But despite following instructions, turning motion detection to 5, turning off humanoid detection and careful positioning it refuses to record any animals, not even my dogs. And what about customer support? Non existent. Ignored my email and attempt to contact via Amazon. What a waste of money. So disappointed. Will be returning it.

This could easily be a 5-star review but for a few baffling design choices that the product developer has made. Pros: Build quality good. Picture quality good. Speaker quality: loud and clear. Mobile chime unit: nice and loud, with 3 loudness settings, and a few different bell sounds. Cons: 1. The device emits a tone outside the house when a caller pushes the bell. This volume depends on the speaker volume setting. I live on a quiet street and if I have the speaker loud enough so that the caller can clearly hear me talk it means that the ringing sound in the street when they push the bell is *also* very loud, and disturbs my neighbours. This outdoor chime in the camera unit should have its own separate volume setting, separate from the volume at which my voice can be heard when I talk back to a caller through the speaker. My neighbours don't like to hear such a loud chime from the camera unit outside my house every time someone pushes my bell. 2. The anti-theft alarm rings if someone pulls the unit out from it's wall dock, I get a notification. The alarm sound on the camera unit itself is easily silenced by just holding the clearly visible rubber button on the back of the camera. A proper way to implement this would be to have the alarm keep going off until it's turned off in the app itself. 3. The Camera's app and how it notifies me of callers to my house. I get a very brief notification of a caller if I am not at home - like a text message. I don't get any sustained ringing sound like a phonecall, and certainly no full screen "incoming call" type screen. I don't get that until I tap a notification on my phone. The preview image on the "incoming call" screen is a tightly cropped image of what the camera can see - sometimes cropping out the caller. All these should be easy to fix? And then I would recommend to this product 5 stars.

Contentísimo con esta cámara!! La batería me dura meses con una carga completa. Ultra sencilla de instalar y configurar. En cualquier parte del mundo que he estado he entrado sin problemas en la app y conectado con la cámara tanto para ver el exterior como para contestar a un visitante ya que te llega la alarma al móvil al momento. Y estando en casa el altavoz es excelente, potente y con distintos tonos. Estoy tan contento que he pedido 2 más para tenerlos como vigilancia en el terreno, ya que el detector de movimiento es buenísimo y la cámara nocturna tiene muy buena calidad! Hasta te guarda clips de unos 6 segundos cuando detecta movimiento, aunque esta duración se puede ampliar si contratas una suscripción, pero por ahora no ha sido necesario en mi caso. Totalmente recomendado!!

Arrivato in tempi celeri, funziona perfettamente e una nota molto positiva e’ che si connette al Wi-Fi anche a 8 mt di distanza dalla porta d’ingresso

Heel lang gezocht naar de perfecte camera bel, enorm tevreden. Goed beeld, bewegingsdetectie, opslag via geheugenkaartje, geen abonnementskosten en héél belangrijk: een goede batterij!

Works great, as my phone is stubborn and not into making my life easier I needed some help with setup from support team and I was delighted, thanks to their patience and knowledge we managed to get it running and all's well in the world again.

Cette sonnette est facile à mettre en œuvre et de très bonne qualité Le seul vrai défaut, c'est son autonomie qui est de maxi 6 jours, et elle n'accepte pas de connexion à un panneau solaire, j'ai même eu la confirmation du SAV Dommage...... Le 25/02/2025 ..... J'ai contacté le SAV, et après avoir échangé avec eux concernant l'autonomie, il s'avère que ma sonnette à un souci. Ils m'ont proposé de faire un échange de ma sonnette (à leur frais) Cela est important de savoir que le SAV répond présent lors d'un problème et qu'il apporte une vraie solution, et le tout avec un véritable service à leurs clients Bravo et merci à l'équipe
