Sofrito Sauce

Was surprised that it actually tasted good in my beans and in my chicken rice. It has no msg and preservatives. Very healthy ingredients.

I have little familiarity with Puerto Rican food so I'm not qualified to judge how authentic this sauce is. But I used it to make Sofrito Chicken following a recipe we found online. It was good, perhaps 4 out of 5 stars. The missing star might have been the result of the recipe we followed, not the contents of the jar. Later, I made chicken wings out of a combination of Loisa Sofrito and Korean gochujang and these were maybe the best wings I've ever made. I'll be buying more Loisa.

Fantastic! The flavors are exactly what you need for everything from making Spanish beans to just a chimichurri for steak. Please don’t change recipe/clean ingredients.

This sofrito instantly brought me back to my mom’s kitchen—it smells amazing and tastes just as authentic. It came properly sealed and fresh, which I really appreciated. While I do think it’s a little on the pricey side, the flavor and quality make it worth it. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to homemade, and it saves me time without sacrificing taste.

This is a yes. The quality is good, the taste is excellent and the it smell sooooo good. I've bought sofritos from other brands, and this has been one of the few I've been able to find without artificial coloring and that maintains a good color after opening the jar. I use it for rice and meat.

I was at first hesitate to buy this product, since it is a little but expensive, compare with other seasonings/sofrito products, but I definitively made a great choice buying it. Great flavor, great consistence. Plus it got better ingredients than the regular seasoning that you buy at the groceries. The seal came just right. Doesn't have too much smell and the color its just as a homemade sofrito.
