Limited double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. 101 is a live album and documentary by English electronic band Depeche Mode released in 1989 chronicling the final leg of the band's 1987/1988 Music for the Masses Tour and the final show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena which was held on 18 June, 1988. Group member Alan Wilder is credited with coming up with the name; the performance was the 101st and final performance of the tour (and coincidentally also the number of a famous highway in the area). The film was directed and produced by D.A. Pennebaker. Pennebaker admitted there was a similarity between Depeche Mode and some of the other artists he'd filmed before (Bob Dylan and David Bowie): "I found the audience very rapt; they were there for that band. Not any band would do. I got the feeling that maybe there was no other band they'd ever go out for again in that assemblage, and it made me take that audience fairly seriously." Depeche Mode firing on all cylinders!
This one is a no brainer for Depeche Mode fans. The vinyl and packaging are beautiful. Most importantly the record sounds incredible. You can't go wrong by having this in your collection.

Sin ningún daño o defecto, buena calidad de audio.
Llego bien protegido, con un paquete especial para el disco, no sufrió algún dobles o rayadura. El vinyl esta perfecto al igual que la caja no tiene rayones y se oye bien. No soy audiófilo así que para mi el sonido se oye muy bien. Solo una observación para la mensajería final, no hicieron la tercer visita y tuve que ir por el paquete hasta el establecimiento, espero que esto no se repita y Amazon revise esa situación.

Depeche Mode é aquele tipo de banda que dispensa qualquer análise ou comentários e esse álbum ao vivo só reforça isso: um show irrepreensível feito nos distantes anos 1980 (meu Deus, como estou velho!!!), num vinil duplo de prensagem ótima, como se o show tivesse acontecido ontem. Tem clássicos de sobra em versões ao vivo. Não pense demais, compre. (Aviso aos “desavisados”: esse álbum saiu antes do aclamado Violator, então não espere ouvir Enjoy The Silence nesse disco ao vivo…)
