Great pencils for your beginner artist!
Bought these pencils as a gift for my artist daughter. Decided to purchase these after reading and watching reviews. She states they are very smooth and blends very well. Also the colors are vibrant. They are great value for the quality!

Great Pencils for Price
These are a very good price for these very good colored pencils. I may have missed it but I think these are oil and go down very nice, easy to sharpen and don't break easy at all. I have had these for 2 days and have used them quite a bit. Sharpened them some using an Afmat Sharpener which sharpens very well. No breakage. I did a color chart and the colors look very close to the barrel. A recommendation I would have would be to get a pencil holder of some kind to hold them upright. It is very Inconvenient to have to get the pencil out of this tin. But I definitely recommend these to anyone wanting a very good, economy colored pencil.

Very pleasantly surprised :)
truly impressed by these colored pencils. I would have considered these a no name brand prior to using them but they are buttery and vibrant! they're in a thin tin that can easily fit in a bag and carry 72 pencils which blows my mind a bit. The trays between levels lift to show the next layer far better than Prismacolor. I get nervous for using my expensive supplies and then don't create as much. These blend beautifully and don't rub or wipe off onto your hands or other surfaces! I've had no points breaking or be particularly hard to resharpen (which is great and very uncommon) Coloring feels so smooth and I can truly relax coloring without thinking about wasting expensive product or them breaking

Very good for casual use
Theseare not 'professional artist' pencils, of course -- not for this price -- but they are not so bad and much better that the ordinary cheap kids set, and have a moderately good pigment load and will cover the area you color directly, although not smear very far out -- blender pencil helps with this. They lay down smooth and creamy and are nice to use, and do blend well with each other. Don't use these for professional work, commisions, etc. but they work fine for coloring books, sketches, and your own drawings. I'm an old guy with a beard doing a sel portrait right now and love it that they have a dozen grays in the set -- in short supply with many sets, and the color range is pretty good for 72 pencils. They also sharpen well -- no breakage yet. Yeah -- I'd buy these again and might well get the 120 set is they come back in stock. Definitely worth the price.

Nice set
Iโm a casual user. Very pleased with thick โleadโ and they sharpen nicely. I did have 2 duplicate colors but there is a nice array of colors to choose from. Great for my needs. AND I have not had a single broken lead, unlike my smaller set of a different brand.

Great budget colored pencils
I recently decided to try a set of MARKART 72 Count Colored Pencils after watching a couple of colored pencil artist channels and hearing the hosts speak highly of this set. And you know what? These are very good for a budget pencil. They come in a sturdy metal box with an attractive decoration, and the pencils are well laid-out. The color number is on each pencil, although disappointingly the color names aren't included on the pencils themselves, but there is a color chart on the inside of the boxes. The cores are smooth, they lay down a lot of color, and I didn't run into any pencil that was scratchy to use, so I'm very happy with them. I'm not sure what pigments are used in the cores, and I doubt these are lightfast, but then these cost a fraction of artist pencils that come with pigment info or lightfast testing. Overall I'd say these live up to the positive reviews. If you want to get into colored pencils or are on a budget, these are pretty hard to beat!

Love these!
These are a wonderful addition to even the best of collections! They are great wax pencils with lots of pigment and capabilities to do blending and shading using multiple layers, I use these sometimes even before I use my prismas! I was shocked at how much I love them! My only complaint is they should add the name of the colors on the pencil!
