It works and does the job. Very nice.
As an electrician codes and standards change. One new change coming stanard is torque requirements on electrical connections on devices, equipment, and circuit breakers. For me this is my first purchase of a torque screwdriver. I have a coworker who has one that's quite nice but it's was pretty expensive. After looking around I spotted this one, it was one of the cheapest options with decent reviews. Once I got it I took it out and began to get familiar with it and get a first impression. When I set it down I was happy that I didn't buy the other expensive one. The pictures don't do the quality justice. After holding this screwdriver it's actually quite well built. This is not cheap flashlight plastic. This plastic handle is of the same kind of high quality and extremely durable plastic used in Ideal and Milwaukee screwdrivers and reamers. The torque selection gage was not hard to read, easier than the tiny writing on the more expensive one. The target is changed with a spring loaded selection knobs at the end of the handle. It has notches to lock the settings you select. To adjust just pull and twist to desired torque. When I select a setting the knob snaps back down lock in place. The lock works perfectly so far. The selection knob gets harder to turn as you go up on the torque selection. It was possible to adjust to the max range, with quite a noticeable increase in resistance at the torque increased. It comes with a ton of bits so finding the one you need should be no problem. I took it outside and tried it out at 20lb a common torque for light switches and receptacles. The screwdriver worked perfectly. Once it reaches the 20lb it engaged the clutch and will not turn the screw anymore. Went to 30lb and clutch did its job again. So the screwdriver will not overtorque screws. It did what it was supposed to. It got those screws to 20 and 30lbs and stopped. What I can't talk about is accuracy and calibration. I did not have any method to compare the accuracy of this screwdriver. There is no calibration sticker on this screwdriver. It does come with a fancy sticker with a long serial number on it displayed right above the made in Taiwan sticker. I feel better knowing this was made in Taiwan. I've had great experiences with tools made there and I still own them. While not as good as American or German steel, Taiwan steel is quite high quality itself. The differences can only be seen in conditions well past what a human can do to them, and have to be broke under powered mechanical operations sush as hydrologic presses on pliers. I'll tell you what for a torque screwdriver that's half or a third of the price of others I've seen listed, this is a really nice screwdriver. I'm glad I have it. My boss is happy to see me with now. So far I don't feel I'm missing out on quality or operation with this screwdriver while working in electrical panels and light switches I've done so far. The cherry on top and proof this screwdriver is made for a job site is that it comes with a tough plastic carrying case that is more than capable of protecting the screwdriver from damage if tou drop it.

Arrived quickly, boxed well, absolutely terrific!
I've got plenty of large torque wrenches but this my first screwdriver style. I'm so impressed with the quality and accuracy and honestly, I wish I had purchased this. years ago. Terminating breakers now is so extremely easy and the results bang-on perfect. You know the routine... Torque, loosen, torque again. This allows the stranded wire to be set firmly and securely and just in case an inspector should test the termination, he'll be pleased to see everything is perfect.

Pretty good - Average quality
It works. Easy to use and seems accurate. Easy to adjust. Quality is just what you're paying for. But I can't complain. I've mounted 3 scopes with this and it's been stellar.

Good Little Tool - a good addition to my tool set!
It worked exactly as expected. The screws holding a very hard-to-get-at valve cover of one of my cars has a very specific light torque requirement for proper gasket compression. I wasn't sure where my hand tightening would leave them, so I bought this as some assurance that they were tightened correctly to avoid another 3-hour teardown in the near future. It also fills a gap in setting range of the torque wrenches I have in my tool box. The instructions aren't the greatest, but setting the torque is very intuitive as long as you understand that the setting is based on the position of red line and not the top of the white bar that appears in the setting window. The red line is not visible with the torque setting backed entirely off as it is delivered, so I can see how this can be confusing at first. Fortunately, one of the reviews I looked at before purchasing it mentioned this, so I want to pass that little tidbit of information along, as well.

Great torque screwdriver for the price!
I bought this in order to properly install AlumiConn aluminum to copper connectors in my house. The instructions say to use a torque screwdriver. These tend to be VERY expensive, but I found this "NEIKO" model for a good price here. I was a bit worried it would be so cheap that it would not work, but it works great! It is sturdy, has a nice set of tips and a great box. I've used it for a year now and it has held up fine to the simple work I do with it. If you need a nice torque screwdriver for basic home use grab this one. You won't be sorry.

Quality Unit at a Good Price
Used for checking mounting torques on gun scopes and similar critical needs. Have used this so far only from 10--30 in pounds. It is easy to use -- just make sure for storage to set back the level so the red line is visible but below the 10 scale, as instructed. Wish it had more bits - I have some other hex drive bits, bit there is no room in the case for storage. The bits included seem of good quality. I cannot judge the accuracy as I have no other instrument for cross reference.

Works as advertised, super easy to operate!
A simple use, solidly built tool that makes it easy to tighten fasteners to required torque. Set to desired torque, and tighten the fasteners until there is an audible click and the tool disengaged further attempts to tighten. Instructions are printed on the tool and are very easy to understand.

It works
Like many others, I got this torque screwdriver to properly install Alumiconn connectors. I'm an electrical contractor and just started offering aluminum remediation to my customers using Aluminconn connectors but needed to torque them correctly. Since this screwdriver had good reviews and was priced reasonably I figured I'd give it a try. The screwdriver body seems to be constructed well - setting the torque levels is very straightforward and I don't quite get the complaints from others about it being difficult to adjust to the right level. When torque-ing screws down, I've noticed that with this screwdriver it's good to let the screwdriver click twice as sometimes between the first and second "clicks" a good amount of screw-turn is noticed, while other times no movement is noticed. It's a basic torque screwdriver, not a refined tool. I'd rather have this level of tool that I can be a little more careless about, than a super expensive and delicate tool that breaks when looked at. Two negatives - one the shaft is extremely long. I've never been a long screwdriver fan, so I don't care for the length of this screwdriver's shaft - see product description and know how far your hand will be away from the screw you're trying to torque. For some applications this may be a benefit, but for installing the small Alumiconn connectors, it's definitely overboard. Two - the socket head and tips are loose. While on the job the tips and socket head would wobble and sometimes fall off. In a pinch, I pulled off the socket head, put a small amount of electrical tape and pushed the socket head back on. I did the same thing for the screwdriver tip (even smaller amount of tape though) and pushed it back on. No more wobbly head and the tips stay on unless I pull them off on purpose. While my fix works, I would expect the included tips and socket head to be a bit more secure. All in all, it works, and you get what you pay for. If I get another whole house aluminum remediation job, I'm going to order a better quality torque screwdriver (such as the "CDI Torque 401SM Micro Adjustable Torque Screwdriver, Torque Range 5 to 40-Inch Pounds by Snap-on") and give this one to my helper.

SUPER

Very pleased.
I use this at least twice a month and am quite pleased with it. In hindsight, something a bit more compact would have been more desirable but this one does everything I need it to do
