me and fish are happier
I like a variety of food for my fish. I also have a variety of fish to feed. So to me, this product is a great addition to their diet. I have a 40 gallon Breeder tank, a couple of 20 gallon longs and a few 10 gallon tanks going on. In those tanks I have Mollies, Platys, Guppies, Similis Corydoras Catfish, a sorority of Betta fish, African Dwarf Frogs, male Betta fish and Pink Ramshorn Snails. I know it sounds like a lot in my heavily planted tanks. Especially if you know the reproduction rate of some of these types of fish. Some of the fish and frogs benefit from this the most because the others will try to devour the rest before it can even hit the bottom most of the time. The bottom feeders also get fed through a glass tube into the glass tray so they get what they need as well. Anyways. finding good food that covers all of their dietary needs has been done through a lot of research. Making a man/woman made environment into a more natural environment is not always easy to do for many but I have found a system that works for me and the fish I currently keep. Also, I don't always like to take different types of food and use my mortar and pestle to make fine powder for 2-3 meals a day all the time. So this product is very convenient for my smaller fish and their needs. There also is less wasted food. When the container is empty, I reuse it for my own blends that I use my mortar and pestle for. I fill it up and use it like a shaker without the work of grinding them into a finer powder/smaller granular all the time. I grind up freeze dried bloodworms, bug bite products, algae wafers, and other pellets Then I mix them up and put them into this container when it's empty. It really helps not contaminating the tanks with uneaten food and yet, everyone gets to eat and not fight over food during feeding time. I still pinch food or use another empty container for the larger ones but they also get the benefits from the finer foods as well. I also treat them with frozen foods ad fresh veggies as well. I hope you all enjoy fish keeping as much as i do and figure out what you need for the types of fish you have. They can be very enjoyable and relaxing to watch and care for. ~Happy fish keeping~

Love this brand, will buy again
(Please ignore the cloudy water I just added substrate to my tank) Personally these were perfect, my beta has an easier time eating them as they are a small size. I had just placed the pellets on the surface a few momments prior to recording To add , I saw some people saying they werent very slow sinking- my tank has minimal flow from the filter- and I also drop the food gently with my fingers. Obviously if your filter has a strong current/ or you dump them from the container they will fall faster by being pushed down.

Best pellet food for clown loaches and other tropical fish
I bought this fish food spur of the moment--no research, no recommendations. I think the food is made in Taiwan. The main ingredient is prawn with some spirulina and a probiotic coating, but the print on the container is too small to read. My freshwater fish devour this food and their colors have become as vibrant as saltwater fish. My clown loaches are actually fat. This food is fantastic and better than Hikari. I bought 3 containers. I also feed blood worms and some Hikari sinking pellets, but this fish food is their favorite. What do I want from fish food: to produce great colors and ravenous feeding (appetite) in my fish. This food does both. Thank you Ultra Fresh. Who are you and how did you do this? I'm going to Taiwan for a visit.

Excellent for young cichlid communities
My tank houses several Blovian Rams, Gouramis, Buenos Aries Tetras, and some beautiful Electric Blue Acaras. I struggled to find pellet food that wasn't too large for some of the younger and smaller fish that would be an adequate addition to the community's varied diet. This food fits the need splendidly, the pellets do sink, but gradually over the course of a minute or so, just enough time for those top and mid feeders to snatch it up. Everyone seems to go crazy for it and seeing as they continue to grow I'll be trying out the next size up in the line of food. Overall, I would suggest this to prospective buyers. It's a quality food source for all of your aquariums at a reasonable price.

Not for my fish.
My fish don't like it. They spit it out. I can't rate this product. I tried mixing it with their regular food but they recognize the flavor of this product and avoid it.
