My husband goes through A LOT of cocoa butter to maintain healthy skin. we have tried several different form and brands over the last 3 years but, this product, I have come back to purchase more several time. highly recommend itabsorbs into skin rather nice and doesn't leave sticky feelingnice subtle cocobutter scent without being artificially fragrant scented.All day moisturizer!

All I can say about this product is WOW!! I bought this hoping that it would help with my eczema when Shea butter didn't seem to be doing the trick. It's working!!! This is so rich and creamy that a little bit goes a long way. One patch is all but gone and the other patches seem to be healing. I've been using it twice a day for two weeks now and it's actually working. If you have dry skin, I would definitely recommend giving this a try. It's also available in 15 oz jars. Even though I still have plenty of this jar left, I have already ordered the 15 oz jars to be sure I don't run out.

I recently had a horrible health scare that lead to over a month of hospitalization (just over two weeks in the I.C.U.) and one of the aspects of my malady was terrifically painful cellulitis on my lower legs. The worst of it was an 8" by 10" patch on my left calf which, before treatment, felt like a motorcycle tailpipe burn which often throbbed to feeling like actually being burned. After being released I went through six weeks of the weeping wound being redressed by a home health care nurse before finally scabbing over. Much of the pain was gone, but I still had surges for the past two weeks.I was using aloe vera gel with anesthetic to help the healing process, and it certainly helped quite a bit, but daily pain, irritation, and itchiness was the norm. Finally I was able to replenish my finances, so I decided to seek out cocoa butter to help the skin heal. Amazon has quite a selection ranging from solid blocks to moisturizing lotion, but the Queen Helene cocoa butter looked like it might be the right consistency (semi-solid), and the price was right, so I placed my order and got the jar two days later.When I first applied the cocoa butter relief was quick and almost miraculous. The itchiness was relieved instantly, quite a bit faster than hydrocortisone cream, and the irritation and pain were gone within five minutes. For the first time in over six months I was pain-free! After applying it three times in a day the wound improved to the point of what would have taken at least a week. My only regret is that I didn't find this awesome stuff sooner.The cocoa butter is pretty much non-greasy, has a mild, pleasant scent (not my cup of tea but really could only be improved by being scent-free), and absorbs very quickly. The jar is larger than I anticipated, and it only takes a small amount to do its job. The moisturizing effects are above and beyond any lotion I have ever encountered.Queen Helene's cocoa butter is at the top of its class and the price is a steal. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a multitude of uses.

I normally buy it from Walmart and I just saw the price and did not look at the ounces and was ripped off. You get a 15 ounce at Walmart for the same price as this 4 ounce. So great product I have been using for years but the Amazon price is a rip-off.

I have been looking for a cream that gives me the same result + feeling as the Kiehl’s dry skin facial cream did for what seems like an eternity since they discontinued it. I have had my eye on this particular one & it’s sat on my list for a while now until I finally bit the bullet recently and purchased it. I have extremely dry skin on my face & im a 41 year old female. When my skin is dry with no moisture, that’s when I can start to see lines & wrinkles forming. The minute I opened this bottle and put some on my finger, I realized it felt so similar in consistency to the Kiehl’s cream. So after my shower this morning, I applied to my face for the first time. It’s been about 8 hours since and my skin still feels nourished and youthful. The scent is just a light cocoa butter - type scent and once applied I can’t smell it anymore. My skin feels so soft still hours later, I can’t believe it because on the day to day, I’m reapplying either a facial spray, eye cream or oil to give my face some quick moisture. I’m really so happy with this as a facial cream and that’s why I’m taking the time to write this review. The consistency is nice & creamy but once applied, it sinks in and doesn’t leave a sticky layer or anything-which I also love! If you’ve got dry skin like I do and need something that’s going to keep you from looking wrinkled up and dehydrated, give this a try. The bottle is sturdy too, it arrived with no spilling. The only con is I didn’t realize when I ordered that it automatically picked the smallest bottle - when I came back to look I see there are other sizes and the biggest one is only a dollar more than I paid for half the product - so pay attention to the options and choose which one you want after looking at all of them. I’m going to be reordering anyway and will choose the bigger option next time. I’m so happy that I found something that works this good that doesn’t break the bank as I’ve spent all kinds of money over the years on skincare. Hope this review helps someone on deciding!

Das war wohl nix…………es ist zwar eine schwere Creme mit starkem Fetteffekt aber der Duft ist voll daneben: die Creme stinkt eher nach COCOS und riecht eben nicht nach Kakao.

La crema è un barattolo di buone dimensioni, non ha bisogno di molto. Quando lo indossi e lo strofini, non c'è nessuna sensazione di unto sulla pelle dopo. Dopo due settimane la mia pelle, che è molto secca, era notevolmente più liscia e morbida.
