Purchased for my desk at work, only scent nobody has complained or had allergies from. I’d say that’s a win! Does not smell alot like lavender but is a warm soft scent and adds that like home feeling to my daily grind.

Update (to original review below): I purchased this as an Add-On Item on January 3, 2018, and not only is the wick reluctant to light and produce a bright flame (it turns orange, looking like a heater coil), but it also gives off no scent whatsoever after getting it lit and leaving it burn for an hour! The only smell it emits is chemical-like when putting out the dim flame, and there's no spiraly smoke after. THE QUALITY HAS EITHER CHANGED OR GONE AWRY. - - - - Original Review: For all of the fragranced candles I've tried, from crappy (Yankee Candle) to fancy (Diptyque, Ladurée) and in between (Nest, Jonathan Adler, etc., etc., etc.), Mrs. Meyer's wins for emitting and maintaining a strong scent from right after it's lit, and burning evenly and slowly -- actually lasting for the length of time it's supposed to (and the jar can be repurposed after). It's just not a purely lavender scent (thus the deduction of a star), but it *is* nice quality/good value for the money.

This is my favorite candle. The lavender scent is not overpowering. Our home smells gently good. Burns cleanly.

This candle burns clean, and smells nothing short of amazing clean lavender! That being said, I gave this product a 3 star rating because it did it not last long ( only had this candle for about 2.5 weeks) and it’s done! In fact, I should’ve been able to get about 35 hrs I’d burn time as it states. Now, within the 2.5 week period, I didn’t use it every day but would usually burn for about 30mins-1hr after I’ve finished cleaning up. Nonetheless, it did not cover the guarantee of 35hr burn time. Another issue is once the candle got down to the bottom, it will not relight to finish a good portion of the wax still left. I’ve included pictures to show. The amount left is probably just what I need to finish up my 35 hr burn period as this much wax left should still last me about another 1week or so. This is highly upsetting for the cost of these small bottles. They need to figure out a way to maximize the string to finish burning more than enough of the wax left behind. I’ve had much cheaper candles from brand stores 🎯 that could do the job! Even though I’m in love with the scent, you simply don’t get what you are paying for with this brand of candle, and well that’s highly important to me!

Amazing scent and great service

I was so excited that I bought two candles. And now I have no idea what to do with them as the scent is the furthest thing from sweet, calming lavender and instead smells of ear wax (go figure). It was giving me a heavy head after I lit the candle while doing work in my room. Too bad.
