The bell helps us keep tabs on our energetic kitty. Without it, she would be underfoot causing risk of falling to avoid stepping on her. Now we know when she’s near and we can look out for her. The bells are cute, loud enough to alert but not annoy and the claw clasp make it easy to put on her collar. I like the variety of colors and I’m happy with the quantity in case the bell needs to be replaced because of loss or discoloration.

So a little over a year now the bells have maintained their sound just fine and held onto the collars where I was able to affix them as they did not fit the tag ring. That being said on all four of my cats the bells have worn away their colors, this particular bell is actually the least worn away amazingly. Thankfully they fit onto the slide on tags I got for the collars since tags get caught and yanked about so easily. I'd be completely happy with them if they maintained color, I couldn't color match the tags but the bells matched the collars once upon a time. Now I'm forced into dealing with 3 cats with worn nasty bells or trying to find ways to color them more permanently since otherwise they have held up so well.

These would work good for an animal that doesn't move but what's the point of that. They last about 2 days before the only thing left on my two dogs collars are the clasp. I would look at something a little bit better quality. Pay attention to when the clasp is, and where it connects into the bell.

Perfect for a kitty but not for dogs. They chew them. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I bought these cat bells for protection. We hear a lot how people can get into your hotel room while you sleep. Not when you have cat bells. I can hang them or spread over the floor. Sometimes we can't use the other security mechanisms, so I figured noise makers are the best in such situations.

I bought these to go on our cats urn boxes. They are the perfect size for this.
