1st time with STRONGHERO3d PLA, not my last; great quality prints!
Wow, this is some amazing filament! I print with nozzle at 205° and bed at 60°, usually have bed at 50°, but this seems to need a bit more heat. The colors with this VERTIGO GALAXY RAINBOW are great, the print amazing and the feel of the finish piece is like nothing I’ve ever printed, just wonderful. I’ll be trying one of the other colors, certainly, but will be searching for the right models to print with this filament, for sure! Happy printing for all!! May 2023; I just purchased a roll of the Galaxy Glitter Black filament; although I would describe the color more of a glitter gun metal grey, not deep or dark enough to call black. While it looks good printed, it takes some effort to get the setting right in order to get good bed adhesion for the first couple of layers. Stronghold3D’s settings recommendations vary a bit between what they list here and on their website with temps and speeds. This being said, I am finding the following tweaks are helping with good first layer adhesion and smooth prints: light layer of glue stick made the greatest difference, 220°/50°, 35 mm/s speed and set your initial layer width to 120%. I also added a brim to the prints and that helped immensely. No one or two of these changes helped alone, but together I’m not having issues. The price of the Galaxy filament is very good, as is the finished print, so I probably would buy this again. When my project is complete, I will add pictures more pictures to this review.

Not quite as vivid as pic but beautiful
I'm very happy with this filament. Beautiful colors, great sheen and sparkle, easy to print on default settings, even at .12mm layer height. A 350g print cycled through the 3 colors a little over twice so a full spool probably cycles 7 times, for a total of around 21 color changes, which means a print under 50g/16m will be basically all the same color. The colors might not be as vivid as the listing picture, and it seems inconsistent since the two rolls I got look pretty different, but it's worth a shot.

How can you screw this up so badly? Avoid this filament.
This is the first filament I have ever used that has successfully clogged 4 separate printers, including a BambuLabs X1C. Even with glue this junk doesn't stick properly to the bed. On top of that, if you get successful bed adhesion, you don't get proper layer adhesion, which means your model delaminates itself. I modified temps of the printhead to make sure 100% that it was set proper. I used the Engineering side of the build plate for the Bambu and set the bed temp higher than the standard PLA side. I used glue I used bed tack, I tried multiple different suggestions I found online. None of them worked. Out of a full 1KG roll, I got TWO prints, and both of them have some bad defects that affect the appearance of the print. I tried even going with a layer height of .28 on the Elegoo Neptune printers, and .28 on the bambu, and it still didn't work. And it clogged all of my printer nozzles. What lovely afternoons cleaning those messes up. Don't buy this. I have had really good luck with a different StrongHero3d filament I bought in the past, but this stuff isn't even worth the material it's made out of. After this I will not be buying any other stronghero3d filament. This stuff is pure junk. Avoid it and you won't have to spend a couple hours cleaning up your printers after this stuff tries to destroy them outright.

This is one of my most popular filaments. I love it, my customers love, and it makes great Cinderwing dragons. Makes things really look like the night sky, which it fantastic.

Adhesion issues
I got the rainbow galaxy filament and was excited to try it since the blend of colors is stunning. Sadly, this is one of those filaments that's finicky and needs something special to help it adhere to build plates. I've been testing multiple filaments prior to this one that have succeeded famously on the magnetic steel plate. On the first failure with this filament, I switched plates to the textured PET which I've NEVER had to use glue on because no. And still, the print failed at about 30 minutes in. It lasted longer on the PET sheet, but still came loose and left me with spaghetti. I have other plates I can throw glue on to test this further, but frankly, I don't have time for that right now and I'm annoyed that I'd have to do that in the first place. Other brands like Elegoo, Eryone, R3D, Amoybaby, Semdon, etc haven't failed me on these same build plates, but this one does? No thanks. If you want this color, check out the Galaxy Nebula from FlashForge. It's not a rainbow but it's the same color family and gorgeous.

Great printing, Great appearance, Packed well.
Wow, this filament is awesome! I printed a small dragon with it, and the print is not only multicolored, but actually irradescent. I printed at 220 c, with .40mm nozzle and layer of .16mm (The box shows a range of 200 - 245 c). I am definately going to buy more of this stuff. No problems with an 8 hour print. Came in a one time use vacume sealed plastic bag and a plain cardbord box with the word Stronghero3D printed on it with information lables on the box

Definitely not PLA. Probably HTPLA or PETG
Update: About half of the spool gone trying to dial in temps already... Now I'm getting jams because the filament is pinned on the spool. It's wound incredibly bad, pinning under itself on the spool. Honestly it's been a pretty awful experience with this brand of filament so far. SO I'm using a hardened steel nozzle, printing at 225c, and I'm getting poor inter-layer adhesion. I've upped the temps up to 245c and still getting very poor layer adhesion. I'm printing at 265c now, after wasting half a roll. Regardless, this is NOT PLA. This is likely HTPLA. That being said, parts printed with this filament look fantastic. If I managed to get a strong print with good layer adhesion off at higher temps I'll update my review. Please verify you're shipping PLA and NOT HTPLA.

Very Impressed
Finally got around to using this with my Bambu Lab X1C. Results are really impressive. Very Matt like texture which almost entirely hides the layer lines and the colour is really vivid. It’s a premium filament but the results are impressive
