Just As Good As The Electric Brushes - If Used Properly
I've had 3 different electric brushes so far.....two so-called "sonic" & one that just rotated. All of them died before 12 months of use. I am not hard on them, never dropped any of them & never traveled with them. It's strange because I have had the same rechargeable Oral-B toothbrush for at least 8 years. I have concluded the electric facial brushes are just not worth all the money. But I love how clean/exfoliated/clear my skin feels with a brush so I went searching for a replacement. This Bass brush is really good & I get just as clean/exfoliated/clear with it as I did with the overpriced "sonic" brushes. I've used this brush twice a day now for over 2 months. I have had maybe 3 bristles fall out. The bristles are still in really good shape - not bending or looking worn. The handle is really comfortable to use. I would like the head to be a tiny bit smaller but that's a minor complaint. The bristles are just the right stiffness IMO. Not too hard, especially if you run the brush under warm water every time - that softens them more. I have an oily t-zone but somewhat sensitive skin. If you don't overuse the brush or brush too hard, it should be fine. Some people may find using this once a day or every other day is plenty. I splash my face with warm water, apply cleanser, run the brush under warm water for a few seconds to make sure it's wet/clean/softened, shake out excess water & then gently scrub my face in small circular patterns - make sure to hold the brush straight against your face. Don't angle it because you will just end up over scrubbing. It takes a little practice to get the technique right but once you do, you will be able to get in to every nook & cranny around your nose/mouth/chin/between your eyebrows/forehead. My favorite cleanser is actually two cleansers: I first apply a dab of "Aqua Glycolic" cleanser & then a dab of "Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash". I let them sit on my face for a minute or two & then I use the brush. This is so good for exfoliating & keeping my oily t-zone pores, clear. I also have a bottle of the Neutrogena in the shower with the Aqua Glycolic added to it (about 15 pumps of it) so that my husband gets the benefit of these two cleansers - he will never remember to do this 2-step process otherwise.... ;) KEEP IT CLEAN: Make sure to fully rinse & clean your brush when you are done & allow it to air dry. If you don't take proper cleaning care, you will just create a bacteria mess & more skin problems. At least once a week, I pour a little rubbing alcohol on the bristles & then rinse well with warm water. Aqua Glycolic Cleanser: Aqua Glycolic Facial Cleanser, 6 oz Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash, 9.1 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 3)

Great for dry brushing
I could never understand why people would spend $200 for a brush with a battery or needing to be constantly charged, when a manual brush would work just as well, if not better. I purchased this brush, along with another brush, because I wasn't sure which brush I would like. I ended up liking both brushes, but I use this brush specifically for dry brushing my face & neck. It was slightly rough at first, so I took the advice of another review & softened it up by using it on the back of my hand for about a week. I have sensitive, combination skin, but had started having patches of dry skin, which was something new to me. I had never heard of dry brushing, until I started searching beauty articles on how to solve my dry skin problem. After reading several articles on it & watching several videos on the proper way to dry brush, I decided to give it a try. I just wish I had known about it years ago. My friends have even noticed the difference & have asked what I am doing differently with my skincare routine. I gladly tell them about dry brushing with my Bass brush. Many of them had never heard of dry brushing either. I will continue to use Bass brush for my skin care. Nice product & I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Update: I have noticed several comments where users felt this brush was too rough & irritating to their skin. I wanted to post an update on how I use it without irritation. It isn't necessary to use a lot of pressure when using this brush. If you use too much pressure & brush for an extended period of time, it can be irritating to the skin. Like I mentioned above, it is wise to soften the bristles before use on your face. Once your bristles are broke in, you only have to use gentle brushing to exfoliate without irritation. It only takes me a few minutes to dry brush & I have had no problems with irritated skin. I also had an opportunity to compare this brush against a new battery operated brush when my husband bought me a facial steamer as a present. It came with a battery operated facial cleansing brush & sponge attachment for moisturizer. I loved the steamer, but hated the battery operated brush because it was just too soft to effectively deep clean & my face just didn't feel as clean as with my Bass brush. Not only do I save money using a manual brush, I also don't have to worry about replacing batteries or worrying whether I have a "fully charged" unit like some of the expensive facial brushes on the market.

Works great
Soft enough not to hurt but firm enough to do a great job cleaning if you press onto the face and move in circles over the face several times after wetting and soaping face and wetting brush. I wash it off and shake it dry each time but if it hung up, or even had a little hole in the handle for me to run a cord through myself for hanging up, i would feel it dried far better and I wouldn't worry as much over bacteria getting in it. So I removed a star for that. Just a simple hole in it with a cord it would've been 5 stars because hanging it up would be so much better, but otherwise it's great.

Great But…
This Is Such A Good Brush If Your Skin Isn’t Sensitive. It’s A Little Rougher Then I Thought It Would Be So I Use It To Give Myself Pedicures Instead Which Works Great To Exfoliate The Toenails And Bottom Of The Feet

Excellent brush
I really like this brush. At first it was (obviously) a bit harsh on my face but as the bristles broke in a bit, it became a nice addition to my morning routine. I massage my skin twice a day with/without a cleanser. It actually really makes my skin smoother. I have really dry skin and it began to come out with some rough patches and a generally sallow/dull skin tone. I also have a lot of red/purple spots from acne marks. I've noticed an improvement in the evenness and color of my skin and it's much, much smoother, even without lotion. It does a better job than any generic exfoliant (which is actually harsh on the skin). I think it's a worthy investment because it lasts much longer than an exfoliating cleanser and does the same job :)

It will irritate your face!
This is a very deceptive product. Do not get fool by the brand. It is hundred percent cheap material. The price is not affordable it is expensive because you ended up tossing the brushes what is the same as trowing to the trash ten dollars. I tried to contact the Seller via E-mail. They ignore me...they didn't care at all about my comments. These brushes irritated my skin instead of improving the appearance of it. I have used natural brushes in the past with great results but because these brushes are made of synthetic bristles they caused harm. If you buy and you have same results as I did they do not refund your money. Learn from my experience!

Great Facial Brush
When I ordered this facial brush I was a bit apprehensive. I wasn't sure if the bristles would be too rough for my sometimes sensitive skin. The things that I really like about this brush is that the handle is high quality plastic (it is easy to clean and dry) and the bristles are not synthetic, they exfoliate very well and are not too rough on the skin. You should rub the bristles on the back of your hand just to soften them at first. After a few weeks of using the brush twice a week it is still in good shape. I highly recommend to those with blackheads because within one time of using this brush mine were all gone! I didn't use the brush for a week and they did come back, so just use the brush on a weekly basis.

Best Item EVER. Clear up acne and balance your skin.
I love this face brush so much. This has been the key to helping my skin clear up. I got rid of all cleansers and soaps and scrubs. This is the perfect routine to save your skin: 1) At morning or night when your face is dry, use in a circular motion all over face and neck 2) Rinse with luke warm water I know it seems too simple but this is all your skin needs as you won't be stripping away natural oils and you'll be exfoliating dead skin cells away to let your skin breathe. I had acne for years and I believe that using this along with getting rid of face makeup (this is the other most important part), soaps, lotions and anything other than this brush and water on my face has been the best remedy out there and I've tried them all. I'd love if this review helped others suffering from acne, dry, oily and very unbalanced skin. This product works so well but don't skip the step of ditching the makeup, soaps and lotions either or Im not sure you'll have the same results.

Check out the before and after
Absolutely love the brush. Got a cute purple colour...I'm gonna assume we all get random colours? 100% recommend running some water through it first to soften the bristles before using it on the face. It will soften quite nicely, while retaining a slightly rough texture. Some people might find it too harsh, ( it no makeup brush I'll give you that) but I love it because it feels like it's actually doing work this way. I do have sensitive and acne prime skin and this seems to work just fine for it. I took a before and after to show off to my friends. In the first image of me I only did the left side with the brush for a couple of minutes. You can see a jawline difference, I'm not as congested, my right cheek is clearly more congested and swollen as well as the right side of my mouth. In the last picture I did both sides and it looks like I used a filter to smooth it out! My nose was no longer congested, and my facial muscles felt so light. 10/10 recommend, I can't wait to see the results long term

Exactly what I was hoping for!
I’ve been looking for a Bass facial brush for a while with no luck. This is exactly how I remember it, stiff enough that it stimulates and exfoliates the skin, but soft enough to use all over the face and neck-even the eyes!
