Sorel Women's Out N About Leather

I have never not loved my sorel boots! Love these boots!! I normally wear a size 6 1/2 in sorel boots so, I ordered a 7 a half size up. They fit me perfect but, I don’t have a wide foot. Also if your looking to wear as winter snow boot to u might might to order a whole size up. I personally didn’t want mine for winter boots don’t feel they are lined well for winter boots more for rainy days. So they fit me perfect. I could wear a heavy sock to but, then they would feel a little tight so, if going to wear Heavy socks order a whole size up. They are so comfortable but, the top of boot is rubbing above my ankle and, the first day I wore them I wanted to cuff my jeans high so wore a low sock and, now have blisters above ankle of both sides. Don’t make the same mistake break them in before u wear to low of a sock. lol! If your thinking about buying a stylish Sneaker/boot for rain these are a must have! I love my Hunter boots for rain to but, these boots are so much better then my hunters if looking to be more active. I wanted a rain boot I could be more active in and also one that wasn’t so high for Spring and, Summer rain days. Life’s to short so buy the boots! lol!!

These are really cute but hard to fit. Here is what I learned: I wear a 7 or 7.5 regularly. Based on other reviews I ordered a 7.5, 8 and 8.5 (I reeeealy wanted these shoes to fit right). These fit true to size. They may seem tight because the toe curves up some. That eventually relaxed for me. I may have gone to an 8 if I planned on wearing them with thick socks in a colder climate (I live in TX). These shoes DO relax it just takes a while. I remember thinking I had made a mistake. I had to wear them for 7 days+ before it really started to give. I think getting them too big may be a mistake because the heel will drag and wear out quickly. In the 7.5 my foot did not slide around...it was snug. At first it felt a bit too snug but again now they are perfect and I don't have to worry about dragging my heel. I really think that it is the toe curve that throws off the sizing. GOOD luck! and I love these shoes.

While these were super cute, I ended up returning them because like other reviewers said, the sizing is really off. I have 3 other pairs of Sorel boots, all of them are a size 6. I ordered these in a 6.5 because all the reviews said size up. I could barely get my foot in the 6.5, and once I did, my toes were really squished, but the top of the bootie (around the ankle) was so big. There was so much space between the front of my ankle and boot. So, I ordered a 7. That was a better fit around my foot, but because the opening at the top of the boot protrudes forward so much, when I walked, my ankle would shift all the way forward which then made my heel slip up. They’re so cute that I tried to put insoles in them to see if that would help with the heel lift. It helped a little, but I really wanted these boots as “easy-throw-on-take-the-dog-for-a walk” boot, and they just weren’t cutting it. For me, they were a little too tough to get on and off. And they just weren’t as comfortable as all my other Sorel boots are. So just decided to send them back.

I own a pair of the Sorel Caribou boots which are my heavy duty snow boots. I bought these to be more of a rain boot, so I was okay with a snugger fit. I'm somewhere between 8 - 8.5 in shoes and usually size up to a 9 for athletic shoes. I also have narrow feet. I bought the Out N Boot in a 8.5 and lengthwise, they were perfect. They were ever so tight around my foot initially but after wearing them for a ~2 mile walk with my dog, they now are perfectly snug with moderately thick socks. While on my walk, I walked around in a creek in the woods and my feet were perfectly drive. The east snowstorm was my next opprtunity to test drive them and they kept my feet dry and have pretty good traction on icy surfaces. My *only* complaint is that the leather upper digs into my leg at the top of the boot just above my ankle. I'm hoping the leather will break in and if that happens, I may modify my review. I'm not tying these very tightly at all so it's a little annoying. The boots are overall awesome except for that. They look great in the black and are super practical, too. They are also (to me) super comfortable, other than the rubbing issue.

This was my first time purchasing Sorel boots. What I liked about these boots are that the look really cute and trendy, but they're not very comfortable around the ankles unless you wear long socks. I ordered these boots in both Black and Elk to see which color I loved most and I really loved the black and while, but the insole for the black boots are not as soft as the insoles in the Elk colored boots. Since the insoles in the black boots were not soft, it made the shoe even more uncomfortable to wear. The uncomfortable insoles were the final deal breaker that made me return these boots. But if you're willing to give up comfort for fashion just order a size up, like all the other reviews say. My feet measure as a size 7, but I wear a size 7.5 in Nike shoes so sizing up to 8.5 was a perfect fit.

I bought these boots mostly for casual wear and practicality purposes. They are completely water proof (and of course you'll want to treat the leather) which is perfect for utah in the early spring, fall and winter. You can always trust Sorel to be high quality and long lasting. True to size with just enough room for thick socks. And to top it off; so stylish. Are rare characteristic in winter boots. And even though I'm sure they could handle it- I personally wouldn't take them on any rugged terrain trips. I'll keep my old, worn pair for that. Five stars for these beauties!

Ordered a half size up and right shoe is smaller than left. Feels like a whole size smaller even though it's labeled as the same size. I normally have no issue with buying shoes/having one feel smaller. I'm going to return and maybe get a full size bigger than my size. I may also try another pair in this same 1/2 size up in case this one is mislabeled. Other than the mis-sizing, they feel pretty comfortable. The leather at top of ankle is pretty stiff so tends to cut in but I found some relief by just pulling on the top a bit. I think it will soften over time.

Definitely go up half size if you plan to wear thick socks, a bit oddly shaped in the sole, but they turned out super comfortable and well made! They feel nice and snug with a half size up which is how I like my shoes, whole size if you like more room. Normally a 7-7.5, 7.5 in other sorel boots

Ich hätte von Sorel etwas wertigere Schuhe erwartet. Sie sind wasserdicht, leicht zu reinigen, ganz lustig anzuschauen, für Gassi in Ordnung. Eine Innenausstattung in Form von Futter, Polsterung o.Ä. fehlt komplett. Man schaut innen aufs rauhe Leder, das war's. Speziell die nackte harte Lederkante ist ziemlich unbequem und scheuert mir schnell den Knöchel wund. Hätte ich sie nicht per Deal gekauft, wären sie zurück gegangen.

Der Schuh sieht noch besser aus als auf den Bildern, die Sohle ist diskreter als ich dachte, das Material wirkt sehr hochwertig. Vorne geht der Schuh etwas nach oben, was ihn etwas auffällig macht-das muss man mögen. Das Leder ist am Schaft etwas hart, ich denke aber dass sich das mit dem Einlaufen gibt. Die Sohle war bequem. Allerdings fällt der Schuh sehr groß aus, etwa eine Größe. Für schmale Füße ist er eher ungeeignet. Über das 'waterproof' kann ich nichts sagen, da der Schuh wegen der Größe zurückging.

The shoes fit half a size large. The quality is good but the style is weird. The boots cannot be tied tight enough to fit the ankles. It leaves a gap where rain and snow can get in. Returned.

the upper lining of the boots gave me blisters all around the ankles even after breaking into them. Update: Hasn’t gotten any comfortable over time after a year . to be fair i’m not wearing them that often because they are so stiff 😫
